So Ephron’s field in Machpelah near Mamre— both the field and the cave in it, and all the trees within the borders of the field— was deeded

So Ephron sold his field to Abraham. The field was in Machpelah near Mamre. Abraham bought the field and the cave that was in it. He also bought all the trees that were inside the borders of the field. Everything was sold

So the field of Ephron in Machpelah, which was to the east of Mamre, the field with the cave that was in it and all the trees that were in the field, throughout its whole area, was made over

So Abraham bought the plot of land belonging to Ephron at Machpelah, near Mamre. This included the field itself, the cave that was in it, and all the surrounding trees.

So Ephron’s field at Machpelah near Mamre— the field with its cave and all the trees anywhere within the boundaries of the field— became

So Abraham secured Ephron’s field in Machpelah, next to Mamre, including the field, the cave that was in it, and all the trees that were in the field and all around its border,

恩待人、借予人的，是有福之人，他秉公辦事；

從前在以色列中，確立任何有關贖回權或有關替換權的事，就要這樣做：一方要脫下自己的鞋子交給另一方。這是以色列中作見證的方式。那個有贖回權的近親對波阿斯說：「你取得那塊田吧！」於是他就脫下了自己的鞋子。接著波阿斯對長老們和全體民眾說：「今天你們都是見證人：所有屬於以利米勒的、所有屬於基連和瑪倫的，我都從娜娥米的手中取得了；此外我也得了瑪倫的妻子摩押女子路得作我的妻子，好使那死者在繼業上立名，以免那死者的名從他的兄弟中、從本地的城門口斷絕。今天你們都是見證人。」

雅各又吩咐他們，對他們說：「我就要歸到我的先人那裡了。你們要把我葬在我的祖先那裡，葬在赫提人以弗崙田野中的洞穴裡，就是在迦南地幔利對面的麥比拉田間的洞穴裡；麥比拉田是亞伯拉罕向赫提人以弗崙買來的，作為他擁有的墳地。亞伯拉罕和他的妻子撒拉葬在那裡，以撒和他妻子莉百加也葬在那裡；我也把莉亞葬在那裡。那塊田野和田野中的洞穴是從赫提子孫們那裡買來的。」

「看哪，我差派你們出去，就像把羊送進狼群中，所以你們要像蛇那樣聰明，像鴿子那樣純潔。

你們要把握機會，對外面的人靠智慧行事。

所以，你們要仔細察看怎樣行事為人，不要像沒有智慧的人，而要像有智慧的人；
