耶和華顯現與亞伯蘭曰、我將以斯土、賜爾苗裔、亞伯蘭乃於顯現之處、築壇以祭。

亞伯拉罕徙於南方、旅於其臘、其地在迦鐵書耳間。

當日耶和華與亞伯蘭約、曰、我以斯土、賜爾苗裔、自埃及河至百辣大河、

曰、耶和華指己而誓、曰、因爾行是、不惜嫡子一人、我必大賚爾福祉、昌熾爾子孫、如天星之眾多、如海沙之無量、爾子孫將勝諸敵、因爾遵我命、天下兆民將藉爾裔而受福祉。

昔與亞伯拉罕立約、與以撒發誓兮、

為旅於上帝許賜之地、猶在異邦、以撒雅各亦蒙上帝所許、與亞伯拉罕各居於幕、

爾起徧行其地、我必賜爾。

此皆有信、雖至沒、不得所許之福、第遙望欣喜以晉接、自謂於世若賓旅、如是者、明言其欲得土、彼若思所出之故鄉、則有轉機、然其所慕者於天有至樂之國、故上帝雖為彼上帝、而不以為恥、為之備邑、

耶和華諭亞伯蘭云、爾可出故土、離戚族、遠父家、往我所示之地。我將使爾後成為大邦、錫嘏於爾、畀爾顯名、必蒙綏祉。

作惡者流、反居顯要、毋懷不平、毋生豔羨兮。彼如蒿萊、不日芟刈、彼如草花、轉瞬凋零兮、當賴耶和華以行善、然後得居斯土而快足兮。爾惟耶和華是悅、彼聽爾祈兮。爾以百事、付諸耶和華、惟彼是賴、故萬事熙兮。揚爾之善、如光始耀。彰爾之義、猶日方中兮。

牛羊成群、僕從甚眾、非利士人妒之、

爾所旅者、即迦南一境、我將以之賜爾及爾苗裔、永為恆產、我亦為其上帝。○

上帝欲使將得福之人、知其旨不易、故實之以誓、

敬虔之士、我將教爾、導爾於當由之途、我將顧爾、訓迪爾衷、

約瑟於埃及家為僕、耶和華祐之、使之亨通。

耶和華兮、俯聽我祈、垂聞我籲、我既涕泣、援我勿緩兮、我為賓客、旅於爾土、無異列祖兮。

越在疇昔、爾與我祖亞伯拉罕、雅各立誓、必加恩澤、今將前言是踐焉。

蒙耶和華祐、特矜恤之、令沾恩於司獄。

以撒耕稼於彼、迨秋而穫百倍、耶和華錫嘏之。

我左右爾、雖涉江河、不致沉淪、雖經烈燄、不致焚燬。

所學所受、所見所聞於我者、皆當行之、願賜平康之上帝祐爾、

爾勿畏葸、我左右爾、使爾自東自西、咸來和會、
