Then he said,“ Are you really my son Esau?” He said,“ I am.”

以撒又问：“你真是我的儿子以扫吗？”雅各回答说：“是。”

以撒问：“你真是我的儿子以扫吗？”他回答：“我是。”

又问：“你真是我儿子以扫吗？”他说：“我是。”

又說：「你真是我兒子以掃嗎？」他說：「我是。」

以撒說：「你真的是我兒子以掃嗎？」他說：「我是。」

以撒說：「你真的是我兒子以掃嗎？」他說：「我是。」

以撒又問：「你真是我的兒子以掃嗎？」雅各回答說：「是。」

以撒問：“你真是我的兒子以掃嗎？”他回答：“我是。”

又說：『你真是我的兒子以掃麼？』他說：『我是。』

又問：「你真是我兒子以掃嗎？」他說：「我是。」

“ Are you really my son Esau?” he asked.“ I am,” he replied.

“ Are you really my son Esau?” he asked.“ I am,” Jacob replied.

He said,“ Are you really my son Esau?” He answered,“ I am.”

“ But are you really my son Esau?” he asked.“ Yes, I am,” Jacob replied.

Again he asked,“ Are you really my son Esau?” And he replied,“ I am.”

And he said,“ Are you really my son Esau?” And he said,“ I am.”

And he said, Art thou my very son Esau? And he said, I am.

Again he asked,“ Are you really my son Esau?” And he replied,“ I am.”

And he said,[ Art] thou my very son Esau? And he said, I[ am].

Then he asked,“ Are you really my son Esau?”“ I am,” Jacob replied.

He said,“ Are you really my son Esau?” He said,“ I am.”

Then Achish would say,“ Where have you made a raid today?” And David would say,“ Against the southern area of Judah, or against the southern area of the Jerahmeelites, or against the southern area of the Kenites.”

For your iniquity teaches your mouth, And you choose the tongue of the crafty.

The truthful lip shall be established forever, But a lying tongue is but for a moment.

Lying lips are an abomination to the Lord, But those who deal truthfully are His delight.

For if the truth of God has increased through my lie to His glory, why am I also still judged as a sinner?And why not say,“ Let us do evil that good may come”?— as we are slanderously reported and as some affirm that we say. Their condemnation is just.

Then the king said to her,“ What troubles you?” And she answered,“ Indeed I am a widow, my husband is dead.

Do not lie to one another, since you have put off the old man with his deeds,

Will you speak wickedly for God, And talk deceitfully for Him?Will you show partiality for Him? Will you contend for God?

So he changed his behavior before them, pretended madness in their hands, scratched on the doors of the gate, and let his saliva fall down on his beard.

These are the things you shall do: Speak each man the truth to his neighbor; Give judgment in your gates for truth, justice, and peace;

So David said to Ahimelech the priest,“ The king has ordered me on some business, and said to me,‘ Do not let anyone know anything about the business on which I send you, or what I have commanded you.’ And I have directed my young men to such and such a place.

Remove falsehood and lies far from me; Give me neither poverty nor riches— Feed me with the food allotted to me;

Therefore, putting away lying,“ Let each one of you speak truth with his neighbor,” for we are members of one another.
