When Esau heard his father’s words, he burst out with a loud and bitter cry and said to his father,“ Bless me— me too, my father!”

后来你们知道，他想要承受父亲的祝福，竟被拒绝，虽然流着泪苦求，却得不着门路使他父亲回心转意。

所以他们要自食其果，饱胀在自己的计谋中。

因为我呼唤，你们不听，我招手，无人理会。你们忽视我一切的劝戒，拒听我的责备。你们遭难，我就发笑；惊恐临到你们，惊恐如狂风来临，灾难好像暴风来到，急难痛苦临到你们身上，我必嗤笑。

“你们要努力进窄门。我告诉你们，将来有许多人想要进去，却不能。等到一家之主起来关了门，你们才站在外面敲门，说：‘主啊，给我们开门！’他要回答你们说：‘我不认识你们，不知道你们是哪里来的。’那时，你们要说：‘我们在你面前吃过喝过，你也在我们的街上教导过人。’他要对你们说：‘我告诉你们，我不知道你们是哪里来的。你们这一切不义的人，给我走开！’你们要看见亚伯拉罕、以撒、雅各和众先知都在神的国里，你们却被赶到外面，在那里要哀哭切齿了。

人因愚昧自毁前途，他的心却埋怨耶和华。

大卫和跟随他的百姓就放声大哭，直到没有气力再哭。
