Then Jacob said to Laban,“ Give me my wife. My time is completed, and I want to make love to her.”

Then Jacob said to Laban,“ Since my time is complete, give me my wife, so I can sleep with her.”

Finally Jacob said to Laban,“ Give me my wife, for my time of service is up. I want to have marital relations with her.”

Later on, during the wheat harvest, Samson took a young goat as a present to his wife. He said,“ I’m going into my wife’s room to sleep with her,” but her father wouldn’t let him in.

So Jacob worked seven years to pay for Rachel. But his love for her was so strong that it seemed to him but a few days.

So he stopped and propositioned her.“ Let me have sex with you,” he said, not realizing that she was his own daughter in law.“ How much will you pay to have sex with me?” Tamar asked.

Since Jacob was in love with Rachel, he told her father,“ I’ll work for you for seven years if you’ll give me Rachel, your younger daughter, as my wife.”

Yes, for twenty years I slaved in your house! I worked for fourteen years earning your two daughters, and then six more years for your flock. And you changed my wages ten times!
