昔蛇欺惑夏娃、我懼爾心見誘、不誠信基督亦若是、

斯何奇之有、蓋撒但貌為光明天使、

巨龍與其使者、皆逐於地、昔有蛇、亦稱魔鬼撒但、素惑天下億兆、即此龍也、

我遣爾、似羊入狼中、故當智如蛇、馴如鴿、

試者就之曰、爾若上帝子、此石可令為餅、

耶和華上帝謂婦曰、爾何為耶、婦曰、蛇誘我食之。耶和華上帝謂蛇曰、爾既為此、較之六畜百獸、必更見詛、爾必腹行、畢生食塵。我以生釁之心、置爾與婦之衷、爰及苗裔、彼將傷爾首、爾將傷其踵。

曰、爾若上帝子、可投下、記有之、主命使者扶爾、免足觸石、

爰有敵人、若海中之鱷魚、其體雄偉、其行迅速、盤曲若蛇、當斯時也、耶和華將持巨刃、堅利無儔、以剪斯敵。

耶和華使驢作人言、謂巴蘭曰、我無所獲罪於爾、爾乃策我者三、巴蘭曰、汝戲我、願有刃於我手、我必殺汝。

婦雖荏弱、亦當相敬、夫而知理、宜同室居、共得恩寵、以享永生、毋俾爾祈禱有所阻、

若一人傾跌、則一人為之扶持、獨居而蹶、援手無人、豈不難哉。
