So he said to him,“ Go and see if all is well with your brothers and with the flocks, and bring word back to me.” Then he sent him off from the Valley of Hebron. When Joseph arrived at Shechem,

So Israel said to him,“ Go to your brothers. See how they are doing. Also see how the flocks are doing. Then come back and tell me.” So he sent him away from the Hebron Valley. Joseph arrived at Shechem.

So he said to him,“ Go now, see if it is well with your brothers and with the flock, and bring me word.” So he sent him from the Valley of Hebron, and he came to Shechem.

“ Go and see how your brothers and the flocks are getting along,” Jacob said.“ Then come back and bring me a report.” So Jacob sent him on his way, and Joseph traveled to Shechem from their home in the valley of Hebron.

Then Israel said to him,“ Go and see how your brothers and the flocks are doing, and bring word back to me.” So he sent him from the Hebron Valley, and he went to Shechem.

Then he said to him,“ Go now and see about the welfare of your brothers and the welfare of the flock, and bring word back to me.” So he sent him from the Valley of Hebron, and he came to Shechem.

Then he said to him,“ Please go and see if it is well with your brothers and well with the flocks, and bring back word to me.” So he sent him out of the Valley of Hebron, and he went to Shechem.

And he said to him, Go now, see whether it is well with thy brethren, and well with the flock; and bring me word again. So he sent him out of the vale of Hebron, and he came to Shechem.

雅各來到基列．亞巴的幔利他父親以撒那裡，基列．亞巴就是希伯崙，是亞伯拉罕和以撒寄居過的地方。

希伯崙從前名叫基列．亞巴；亞巴是亞衲人中最偉大的人。全地也就止息了戰爭。

說：“巴不得你在這日子，知道關於你平安的事，但現在這事在你眼前是隱藏的。

至於那些偏行彎曲道路的人，耶和華必把他們和作惡的人一同除去。願平安歸於以色列。

撒拉死在迦南地的基列．亞巴，就是希伯崙；亞伯拉罕進去為撒拉哀慟哭號。

於是，亞伯蘭漸漸挪移帳棚，來到希伯崙幔利的橡樹附近，在那裡居住，也在那裡為耶和華築了一座祭壇。

我把你們擄到的那城，你們要為她求平安，為她向耶和華祈禱；因為她得平安，你們也得平安。’

雅各又問他們：“他平安嗎？”他們回答：“平安。你看，他的女兒拉結領著羊群來了。”

他們上到南地，到了希伯崙，在那裡有亞衲族人的後裔亞希幔、示篩、撻買。原來希伯崙城比埃及的瑣安城早建七年。

王問古實人：“那年輕人押沙龍平安嗎？”古實人回答：“願我主我王的仇敵和一切來攻擊你、傷害你的人，都像那年輕人一樣。”

有一天，耶西對他的兒子大衛說：“你拿這十公斤烘了的穀子和這十個餅去給你的哥哥們；你要跑到營裡去給你的哥哥們，又拿這十塊乳酪去給他們的千夫長，看看你的哥哥們平安不平安，把他們的家書帶回來。”

於是約書亞給迦勒祝福，把希伯崙賜給了耶孚尼的兒子迦勒作產業。

約瑟回答法老，說：“解夢不在於我，但神必給法老一個吉祥的解答。”

願流這二人的血的罪歸到約押和他後裔的頭上，直到永遠；但大衛和他的後裔，他的家和他的國卻要從耶和華那裡得享平安，直到永遠。”
