So he said to him,“ Go and see if all is well with your brothers and with the flocks, and bring word back to me.” Then he sent him off from the Valley of Hebron. When Joseph arrived at Shechem,

So Israel said to him,“ Go to your brothers. See how they are doing. Also see how the flocks are doing. Then come back and tell me.” So he sent him away from the Hebron Valley. Joseph arrived at Shechem.

So he said to him,“ Go now, see if it is well with your brothers and with the flock, and bring me word.” So he sent him from the Valley of Hebron, and he came to Shechem.

“ Go and see how your brothers and the flocks are getting along,” Jacob said.“ Then come back and bring me a report.” So Jacob sent him on his way, and Joseph traveled to Shechem from their home in the valley of Hebron.

Then Israel said to him,“ Go and see how your brothers and the flocks are doing, and bring word back to me.” So he sent him from the Hebron Valley, and he went to Shechem.

Then he said to him,“ Go now and see about the welfare of your brothers and the welfare of the flock, and bring word back to me.” So he sent him from the Valley of Hebron, and he came to Shechem.

Then he said to him,“ Please go and see if it is well with your brothers and well with the flocks, and bring back word to me.” So he sent him out of the Valley of Hebron, and he went to Shechem.

And he said to him, Go now, see whether it is well with thy brethren, and well with the flock; and bring me word again. So he sent him out of the vale of Hebron, and he came to Shechem.

He said to him,“ Go now, see whether it is well with your brothers, and well with the flock; and bring me word again.” So he sent him out of the valley of Hebron, and he came to Shechem.

雅各來到他父親以撒那裏，基列亞巴的幔利，亞伯拉罕和以撒寄居的地方：那地方就是希伯崙。

希伯崙從前名叫基列亞巴；亞巴是亞衲族中最偉大的人。於是遍地太平、沒有戰爭。

說：『巴不得連你也在這日子知道那關於你平安之事哦；無奈已被隱藏、使你的眼看不出來了。

至於那偏行彎曲路的人、願永恆主將他們跟作孽的人一起帶走。願平安興隆歸於以色列。

撒拉死在迦南地的基列亞巴，就是希伯崙：亞伯拉罕進去，為撒拉號咷哀哭。

亞伯蘭就搬了帳棚，來到希伯崙、幔利的聖篤耨香樹那裏住下；在那裏他給永恆主築了一座祭壇。

我使你們流亡到的那城，你們要為它求福利，為它禱告永恆主，因為那城得福利，你們也隨着得福利。

雅各說：『他平安麼？』他們說：『平安。你看，他女兒拉結正和羣羊一同來呢。』

他們取道南地上去，來到希伯崙；在那裏有亞衲人的後代亞希幔、示篩、撻買。（這希伯崙之建造比埃及的鎖安還早七年。）

王問古實人說：『孩子押沙龍平安不平安？古實人說：『願我主我王的仇敵和一切起來攻擊你殘害你的人都像那青年人一樣。』

有一天，耶西對他兒子大衛說：『你拿這一伊法焙了的穀子、和這十個餅去給你哥哥們，要迅速地送到營裏去給你哥哥們。也要把這十塊乾酪帶去送千夫長，查看你哥哥們平安不，向他們要個憑證來。

於是約書亞給迦勒祝福，將希伯崙給耶孚尼的兒子迦勒為產業。

約瑟回答法老說：『不在於我；是上帝要將平安的事回示法老的。』

故此流這二人之血的罪總要歸到約押頭上、和他後裔頭上到永遠；而大衛和他的後裔、他的家和他的王位、卻要從永恆主那裏得平安到永遠。』
