She caught him by his cloak and said,“ Come to bed with me!” But he left his cloak in her hand and ran out of the house.

當遠淫婦、毋入其室、

戒血氣之欲、從仁、義信、與清心籲主名者相睦、

凡我良朋為羈旅、我勸爾去私欲、欲戰於中、足害爾魂、

維彼淫婦、心若網羅、手若縲絏、較諸死亡愈苦、為善者避其凶、作惡者遭其害。

婦攜少者、與之接吻、毫無愧色、曰、我今日償願、家有祭品、特出相訪、幸而遇子。我之床幃、枲布為衾、文彩斑斕、來自埃及。我床以沒藥、蘆薈、桂香釁之。爾與我來、相愛相戀、至於詰朝。我夫遠游、手執金囊、必至望日而歸。婦婉言以誘之、媚詞以惑之。少年率爾相從、如牛犢就死地、如罪人受刑罰。如禽鳥罹網羅、迨刃入腎腸、乃知生命之亡。爾小子、宜聽我言、心毋邪僻、勿從其途。維彼淫婦、傷人孔多、殺人亦不少。凡進其室、必就死地、陷於陰府。

惟以自救為急務、如麀如禽、欲脫網罟。

爾小子、斷勿從之、毋行此徑。

婦日誘之、約瑟不聽、非惟不與同寢、亦不與共在。

約瑟不從、曰、主已不與家事、以凡所有、歸我掌握。

主耶和華曰、爾行此事、有若淫婦、既無羞惡之心、又精神之頓耗。爾在逵衢、特搆高臺、以為妓室、妓在圖利、爾則不專於利、

毋自欺也、與惡人交、喪吾德、

撒母耳旋踵以行、掃羅執其裾、裾絶。
