和有夫之妇通奸的，实在愚不可及，他是自寻死路。他必挨打，受辱，他的耻辱永难抹去。

淫妇满口甜言蜜语，油嘴滑舌，最后却苦如艾草，锋利似双刃剑。她的双脚走进死地，她的步伐迈向阴间。她不走生命的康庄大道，偏离了正途也不自知。孩子们啊，要听从我，不可违背我的话！要远远避开淫妇，不可靠近她的家门，

孩子啊，把你的心交给我，欢然走我的道路。妓女是深坑，淫妇是陷阱；她像强盗般埋伏，使世间增添奸徒。

孩子啊，要遵守你父亲的诫命，不可背弃你母亲的训言。你要常常将这些刻在心坎上，系在颈项上。你行走，它们必引领你；你躺卧，它们必护卫你；你醒来，它们必与你交谈。因为诫命是灯，训言是光，管教责备是生命之道，能使你远离邪恶的女人，避开油嘴滑舌的妓女。你的心不要贪恋她的美色，也不要被她的媚眼所迷惑，

她们能使你远离淫妇，远离妓女的甜言蜜语。

淫妇的口是深坑，耶和华憎恶的人必陷进去。

滥交友，自招损；得知己，胜手足。

孩子啊，恶人若引诱你，千万不要听从。

愚昧的女人喧嚷，蒙昧，无知。她坐在自己的家门口，坐在城中高处的座位上，招呼着行色匆匆的过客：“愚昧人啊，到这里来吧！”她又对无知者说：“偷喝的水甜，偷吃的饼香。”他们却不知她那里鬼影憧憧，她的客人已落在阴间的深处。

与别人妻子通奸也是这样，凡靠近她的必难逃罪责。

别让你的心偏向淫妇的道，步入她的歧途。因为她使许多人丧命，被她杀害的数目众多。她的家是通往阴间的路，引人坠入死亡的殿。

智慧要救你脱离淫妇，脱离花言巧语的妓女。她撇弃了年轻时的丈夫，忘了在上帝面前立的约。她的家通向死亡，她的路直达阴间。到她那里的人都有去无回，找不到生命之道。

因为智慧必进入你心，知识必令你的灵欢快。
