So now you are cursed from the earth, which has opened its mouth to receive your brother’s blood from your hand.

地開了口，從你手裏接受你兄弟的血。現在你必從這地受咒詛。

地開了口，從你手裏收取了你兄弟的血了；如今你，你是受咒詛、須離開這地的。

地張開了口，從你的手中接受了你弟弟的血，所以你現在要從這地受詛咒：

今地啟口、由於爾手、以受汝弟之血、爾必由地見詛、

汝既殺弟、地口遂張、以受其血、故爾見詛、必離斯土、

地啟口、自爾手受爾弟之血、爾必見詛、不得地之益、

Now you are under a curse and driven from the ground, which opened its mouth to receive your brother’s blood from your hand.

So I am putting a curse on you. I am driving you away from this ground. It has opened its mouth to receive your brother’s blood from your hand.

And now you are cursed from the ground, which has opened its mouth to receive your brother’s blood from your hand.

Now you are cursed and banished from the ground, which has swallowed your brother’s blood.

So now you are cursed, alienated from the ground that opened its mouth to receive your brother’s blood you have shed.

Now you are cursed from the ground, which has opened its mouth to receive your brother’s blood from your hand.

And now cursed art thou from the ground, which hath opened its mouth to receive thy brother’s blood from thy hand;

So now you are cursed, alienated, from the ground that opened its mouth to receive your brother’s blood you have shed.

And now[ art] thou cursed from the earth, which hath opened her mouth to receive thy brother’s blood from thy hand;

So now, you are banished from the ground, which has opened its mouth to receive your brother’s blood from your hand.

Now you are cursed because of the ground, which has opened its mouth to receive your brother’s blood from your hand.

For as many as are of the works of the law are under the curse; for it is written,“ Cursed is everyone who does not continue in all things which are written in the book of the law, to do them.”

“ But it shall come to pass, if you do not obey the voice of the Lord your God, to observe carefully all His commandments and His statutes which I command you today, that all these curses will come upon you and overtake you:“ Cursed shall you be in the city, and cursed shall you be in the country.“ Cursed shall be your basket and your kneading bowl.“ Cursed shall be the fruit of your body and the produce of your land, the increase of your cattle and the offspring of your flocks.“ Cursed shall you be when you come in, and cursed shall you be when you go out.“ The Lord will send on you cursing, confusion, and rebuke in all that you set your hand to do, until you are destroyed and until you perish quickly, because of the wickedness of your doings in which you have forsaken Me.

So the Lord God said to the serpent:“ Because you have done this, You are cursed more than all cattle, And more than every beast of the field; On your belly you shall go, And you shall eat dust All the days of your life.

“ O earth, do not cover my blood, And let my cry have no resting place!

“ If my land cries out against me, And its furrows weep together;If I have eaten its fruit without money, Or caused its owners to lose their lives;Then let thistles grow instead of wheat, And weeds instead of barley.” The words of Job are ended.

and so it may not happen, when he hears the words of this curse, that he blesses himself in his heart, saying,‘ I shall have peace, even though I follow the dictates of my heart’— as though the drunkard could be included with the sober.“ The Lord would not spare him; for then the anger of the Lord and His jealousy would burn against that man, and every curse that is written in this book would settle on him, and the Lord would blot out his name from under heaven.And the Lord would separate him from all the tribes of Israel for adversity, according to all the curses of the covenant that are written in this Book of the Law,

For behold, the Lord comes out of His place To punish the inhabitants of the earth for their iniquity; The earth will also disclose her blood, And will no more cover her slain.

‘ Cursed is the one who treats his father or his mother with contempt.’“ And all the people shall say,‘ Amen!’‘ Cursed is the one who moves his neighbor’s landmark.’“ And all the people shall say,‘ Amen!’‘ Cursed is the one who makes the blind to wander off the road.’“ And all the people shall say,‘ Amen!’‘ Cursed is the one who perverts the justice due the stranger, the fatherless, and widow.’“ And all the people shall say,‘ Amen!’‘ Cursed is the one who lies with his father’s wife, because he has uncovered his father’s bed.’“ And all the people shall say,‘ Amen!’‘ Cursed is the one who lies with any kind of animal.’“ And all the people shall say,‘ Amen!’‘ Cursed is the one who lies with his sister, the daughter of his father or the daughter of his mother.’“ And all the people shall say,‘ Amen!’‘ Cursed is the one who lies with his mother-in-law.’“ And all the people shall say,‘ Amen!’‘ Cursed is the one who attacks his neighbor secretly.’“ And all the people shall say,‘ Amen!’‘ Cursed is the one who takes a bribe to slay an innocent person.’“ And all the people shall say,‘ Amen!’‘ Cursed is the one who does not confirm all the words of this law by observing them.’“ And all the people shall say,‘ Amen!’”

But the earth helped the woman, and the earth opened its mouth and swallowed up the flood which the dragon had spewed out of his mouth.

Surely You have driven me out this day from the face of the ground; I shall be hidden from Your face; I shall be a fugitive and a vagabond on the earth, and it will happen that anyone who finds me will kill me.”
