And Abel also brought an offering— fat portions from some of the firstborn of his flock. The Lord looked with favor on Abel and his offering,

And Abel also brought an offering. He brought the fattest parts of some animals from his flock. They were the first animals born to their mothers. The Lord was pleased with Abel and his offering.

因着信、亞伯供獻了祭物與上帝、比該隱所供獻的美好，就藉着信得了讚許的證言稱他為義；上帝對他的禮物作證了，因此他死了、還藉着信而說話。

那時候、你要使一切頭胎的人和你所有一切頭胎的小牲口、都走過來、歸於永恆主：陽性的都要屬於永恆主。

要用你的財物敬奉永恆主，用你一切初熟的出產敬奉上帝；

其實幾乎可以說，按照律法，凡物都是用血潔淨的：沒有流血的事，就沒有赦免的事。

只是頭胎的牛、頭胎的綿羊、或頭胎的山羊、你卻不可贖出；牠們都是聖別的。其血要潑在祭壇上，其脂肪要燻為火祭、做怡神之香氣獻與永恆主。

願他懷念着你的一切供獻，悅納你的燔祭。（細拉）

於是永恆主的火便降下來，燒盡了燔祭、木柴、石頭、塵土，又把溝裏的水都餂燒乾了。

一切住在地上的人、名字沒有記在世界創立以來被屠宰的羔羊之生命冊上的、都必拜獸。

就在那裏大衛就為永恆主築了一座祭壇，獻上燔祭和平安祭，呼求永恆主；永恆主就從天上降火在燔祭壇上應了他。

所羅門祈禱完了，就有火從天上降下來，燒盡了燔祭和其他的祭；永恆主的榮光充滿了聖殿；

日落時、天黑壓壓，忽有冒煙的手提爐子、和燒𤏲的火把、從那些肉塊中經過。

有火從永恆主面前出來，在祭壇上燒盡了燔祭和脂肪；眾民看見、就大聲歡呼，臉伏於地。

凡新油肥美的、凡新酒和五穀肥美的、就是以色列人所獻與永恆主的上好之物、我都賜給你。

永恆主的使者伸出手中的扶杖，杖頭一觸着肉和無酵餅，就有火從磐石中上來，燒盡了肉和無酵餅；永恆主的使者便走開，使基甸的眼看不見了。

當下又有火從永恆主那裏出來，把那獻香的二百五十個人也燒滅了。

乃是用寶貴的血、無瑕疵無玷污的羊羔、基督的血。基督是世界創立以前被豫知、而在諸時期的末後為你們

祭司要給燻在祭壇上做食物做火祭、做怡神之香氣：一切脂肪都是屬於永恆主的。在你們一切的住所、一切脂肪、和一切的血、你們都不可喫：這要做你們世世代代永遠的條例。』

你們呼求你們的神的名，我也呼求永恆主耶和華的名；那降火顯應的神，就是上帝。』眾民回答說：『這話很好。』
