If you do what is right, will you not be accepted? But if you do not do what is right, sin is crouching at your door; it desires to have you, but you must rule over it.”

Do what is right and then you will be accepted. If you don’t do what is right, sin is waiting at your door to grab you. It desires to control you. But you must rule over it.”

If you do well, will you not be accepted? And if you do not do well, sin is crouching at the door. Its desire is contrary to you, but you must rule over it.”

各依其行而報之、凡恆於為善、求尊榮不朽者、以永生報之、結黨不從真理、而從非義者、以忿怒報之、患難、窘苦、加諸作惡者、先猶太人、次希利尼人、尊榮、平康、賚諸作善者、先猶太人、次希利尼人、

亞伯以信而獻祭於上帝、較該隱尤善、由是得證為義、即上帝因其禮而證之、且由此信雖死猶言、

兄弟乎、緣此我以上帝之憐憫、勸爾獻身為生祭、聖而見悅於上帝、乃爾當然之崇事也、

豈不知爾獻己為僕以順之、即為所順者之僕、或於罪以致死、或於順以致義乎、

然罪乘機、由誡而動諸欲於我中、蓋無律罪乃死、昔我無律而生、誡至、罪復生而我死、

惡者之祭為可憎、況以惡意獻之乎、

不然、則干犯耶和華、當知罪必及爾、

萬國中有畏之而行義者、為其悅納也、

萬軍之耶和華曰、爾謂行此諸事、何其煩勞、遂輕慢之、耶和華曰、爾以所強奪者、及跛牲病牲、獻之為祭、我豈由爾手而納之乎、

深願爾中有人閉門、免徒爇火於我壇、萬軍之耶和華曰、我不悅爾、不納爾手所獻之物、

萬軍之耶和華曰、爾獻瞽牲為祭、豈非惡乎、爾獻跛牲病牲、豈非惡乎、今試奉於爾之方伯、彼豈悅爾、而納爾乎、

爾既就之、亦如活石、築成靈室、為聖祭司、以獻靈祭、由耶穌基督而嘉納於上帝、

謂婦曰、我必增爾懷妊之苦、產育劬勞、爾必戀夫、夫必轄爾、

罪人作惡百次、而享遐齡、然我深知寅畏上帝者、必獲福祉、惟彼惡者、不獲福祉、不享遐齡、其日如影、以其不畏上帝也、

乳香來自示巴、菖蒲至自遠方、而獻於我、果何益哉、爾之燔祭、我不納之、爾之素祭、我不悅之、

致讚其恩之榮、即於其愛子中樂賜我儕者、

以此而事基督者、為上帝所悅、世人所稱、

瞻徇惡人之情、枉斷義人之獄、俱為不善、

嫠有子孫、宜先學虔敬於其家、以報厥親、此乃見納於上帝前也、

曰、斯事我亦允爾、所言之邑、我不翦滅、

當取牡牛七、牡羊七、詣我僕約伯、為己獻燔祭、我僕約伯將為爾祈禱、我悅納之、不依爾之愚昧待爾、蓋爾曹論我、不如我僕約伯之正、

令我為基督耶穌之役於異邦、恭事上帝福音、俾所獻之異邦人、由聖神而成聖者、見納於上帝、

彼與亞哈子約蘭往基列拉末、與亞蘭王哈薛戰、約蘭為亞蘭人所傷、

該隱以告弟亞伯、在於田間、攻而殺之、○耶和華謂該隱曰、爾弟亞伯安在、曰、不知、我豈防守我弟者乎、曰、爾何為耶、汝弟之血有聲、自地籲我、今地啟口、由於爾手、以受汝弟之血、爾必由地見詛、汝耕田、地不復効力、爾必流離於地、該隱謂耶和華曰、我刑之重、實所不堪、
