but he impaled the chief baker, just as Joseph had said to them in his interpretation.

But Pharaoh had a pole stuck through the chief baker’s body. Then he had the pole set up. Everything happened just as Joseph had told them when he explained their dreams.

Then Daniel praised the God of heavenand said:“ Praise be to the name of God for ever and ever; wisdom and power are his.He changes times and seasons; he deposes kings and raises up others. He gives wisdom to the wise and knowledge to the discerning.He reveals deep and hidden things; he knows what lies in darkness, and light dwells with him.I thank and praise you, God of my ancestors: You have given me wisdom and power, you have made known to me what we asked of you, you have made known to us the dream of the king.” (niv)

The God of our ancestors raised Jesus from the dead— whom you killed by hanging him on a cross. (niv)

“ We both had dreams,” they answered,“ but there is no one to interpret them.” Then Joseph said to them,“ Do not interpretations belong to God? Tell me your dreams.” (niv)

“ I cannot do it,” Joseph replied to Pharaoh,“ but God will give Pharaoh the answer he desires.” (niv)
