“ We both had dreams,” they answered,“ but there is no one to interpret them.” Then Joseph said to them,“ Do not interpretations belong to God? Tell me your dreams.”

“ We both had dreams,” they answered.“ But no one can tell us what they mean.” Then Joseph said to them,“ Only God knows what dreams mean. Tell me your dreams.”

They said to him,“ We have had dreams, and there is no one to interpret them.” And Joseph said to them,“ Do not interpretations belong to God? Please tell them to me.”

And they replied,“ We both had dreams last night, but no one can tell us what they mean.”“ Interpreting dreams is God’s business,” Joseph replied.“ Go ahead and tell me your dreams.”

“ We had dreams,” they said to him,“ but there is no one to interpret them.” Then Joseph said to them,“ Don’t interpretations belong to God? Tell me your dreams.”

And they said to him,“ We have had a dream, and there is no one to interpret it.” Then Joseph said to them,“ Do interpretations not belong to God? Tell it to me, please.”

And they said to him,“ We each have had a dream, and there is no interpreter of it.” So Joseph said to them,“ Do not interpretations belong to God? Tell them to me, please.”

And they said unto him, We have dreamed a dream, and there is none that can interpret it. And Joseph said unto them, Do not interpretations belong to God? tell it me, I pray you.

“ We had dreams,” they said to him,“ but there is no one to interpret them.” Then Joseph said to them,“ Don’t interpretations belong to God? Tell me your dreams.”

And they said unto him, We have dreamed a dream, and[ there is] no interpreter of it. And Joseph said unto them,[ Do] not interpretations[ belong] to God? tell me[ them], I pray you.

They told him,“ We both had dreams, but there is no one to interpret them.” Joseph responded,“ Don’t interpretations belong to God? Tell them to me.”

They said to him,“ We have dreamed a dream, and there is no one who can interpret it.” Joseph said to them,“ Don’t interpretations belong to God? Please tell it to me.”

Pharaoh said to Joseph,“ I had a dream, and no one can interpret it. But I have heard it said of you that when you hear a dream you can interpret it.”“ I cannot do it,” Joseph replied to Pharaoh,“ but God will give Pharaoh the answer he desires.” (niv)

The king said to Daniel,“ Surely your God is the God of gods and the Lord of kings and a revealer of mysteries, for you were able to reveal this mystery.” (niv)

but there is a God in heaven who reveals mysteries. He has shown King Nebuchadnezzar what will happen in days to come. Your dream and the visions that passed through your mind as you were lying in bed are these: (niv)

to another miraculous powers, to another prophecy, to another distinguishing between spirits, to another speaking in different kinds of tongues, and to still another the interpretation of tongues.All these are the work of one and the same Spirit, and he distributes them to each one, just as he determines. (niv)

Surely the Sovereign Lord does nothing without revealing his plan to his servants the prophets. (niv)

The Lord confides in those who fear him; he makes his covenant known to them. (niv)

Finally, Daniel came into my presence and I told him the dream.( He is called Belteshazzar, after the name of my god, and the spirit of the holy gods is in him.) (niv)

There is a man in your kingdom who has the spirit of the holy gods in him. In the time of your father he was found to have insight and intelligence and wisdom like that of the gods. Your father, King Nebuchadnezzar, appointed him chief of the magicians, enchanters, astrologers and diviners.He did this because Daniel, whom the king called Belteshazzar, was found to have a keen mind and knowledge and understanding, and also the ability to interpret dreams, explain riddles and solve difficult problems. Call for Daniel, and he will tell you what the writing means.”So Daniel was brought before the king, and the king said to him,“ Are you Daniel, one of the exiles my father the king brought from Judah?I have heard that the spirit of the gods is in you and that you have insight, intelligence and outstanding wisdom.The wise men and enchanters were brought before me to read this writing and tell me what it means, but they could not explain it. (niv)

What the king asks is too difficult. No one can reveal it to the king except the gods, and they do not live among humans.” (niv)

In a dream, in a vision of the night, when deep sleep falls on people as they slumber in their beds,he may speak in their ears and terrify them with warnings, (niv)

When someone tells you to consult mediums and spiritists, who whisper and mutter, should not a people inquire of their God? Why consult the dead on behalf of the living? (niv)
