Then the chief butler told his dream to Joseph, and said to him,“ Behold, in my dream a vine was before me,

酒政長便將他的夢向約瑟敘述說：『在我夢中，有一棵葡萄樹在我面前。

司酒長就向約瑟講述他的夢，說：「在我的夢中，看哪，有一棵葡萄樹在我面前！

酒政以夢告約瑟曰、吾夢有葡萄樹於前、

酒正以夢告曰、夢有葡萄樹於前。

酒正以其夢告約瑟曰、我夢葡萄樹於我前、

So the chief cupbearer told Joseph his dream. He said to him,“ In my dream I saw a vine in front of me,

So the chief cupbearer told his dream to Joseph and said to him,“ In my dream there was a vine before me,

So the chief cup bearer told Joseph his dream first.“ In my dream,” he said,“ I saw a grapevine in front of me.

So the chief cupbearer told his dream to Joseph:“ In my dream there was a vine in front of me.

So the chief cupbearer told his dream to Joseph, saying to him,“ In my dream, behold, there was a vine in front of me;

And the chief butler told his dream to Joseph, and said to him, In my dream, behold, a vine was before me;

So the chief cupbearer told his dream to Joseph:“ In my dream, there was a vine in front of me.

The chief cup bearer told his dream to Joseph, and said to him,“ In my dream, behold, a vine was in front of me,

“ These were the visions of my head while on my bed: I was looking, and behold, A tree in the midst of the earth, And its height was great.The tree grew and became strong; Its height reached to the heavens, And it could be seen to the ends of all the earth.Its leaves were lovely, Its fruit abundant, And in it was food for all. The beasts of the field found shade under it, The birds of the heavens dwelt in its branches, And all flesh was fed from it.“ I saw in the visions of my head while on my bed, and there was a watcher, a holy one, coming down from heaven.He cried aloud and said thus:‘ Chop down the tree and cut off its branches, Strip off its leaves and scatter its fruit. Let the beasts get out from under it, And the birds from its branches.Nevertheless leave the stump and roots in the earth, Bound with a band of iron and bronze, In the tender grass of the field. Let it be wet with the dew of heaven, And let him graze with the beasts On the grass of the earth.Let his heart be changed from that of a man, Let him be given the heart of a beast, And let seven times pass over him.‘ This decision is by the decree of the watchers, And the sentence by the word of the holy ones, In order that the living may know That the Most High rules in the kingdom of men, Gives it to whomever He will, And sets over it the lowest of men.’“ This dream I, King Nebuchadnezzar, have seen. Now you, Belteshazzar, declare its interpretation, since all the wise men of my kingdom are not able to make known to me the interpretation; but you are able, for the Spirit of the Holy God is in you.”

Now Joseph had a dream, and he told it to his brothers; and they hated him even more.So he said to them,“ Please hear this dream which I have dreamed:There we were, binding sheaves in the field. Then behold, my sheaf arose and also stood upright; and indeed your sheaves stood all around and bowed down to my sheaf.”And his brothers said to him,“ Shall you indeed reign over us? Or shall you indeed have dominion over us?” So they hated him even more for his dreams and for his words.Then he dreamed still another dream and told it to his brothers, and said,“ Look, I have dreamed another dream. And this time, the sun, the moon, and the eleven stars bowed down to me.”So he told it to his father and his brothers; and his father rebuked him and said to him,“ What is this dream that you have dreamed? Shall your mother and I and your brothers indeed come to bow down to the earth before you?”

But at last Daniel came before me( his name is Belteshazzar, according to the name of my god; in him is the Spirit of the Holy God), and I told the dream before him, saying:

“ You, O king, were watching; and behold, a great image! This great image, whose splendor was excellent, stood before you; and its form was awesome.

And when Gideon had come, there was a man telling a dream to his companion. He said,“ I have had a dream: To my surprise, a loaf of barley bread tumbled into the camp of Midian; it came to a tent and struck it so that it fell and overturned, and the tent collapsed.”Then his companion answered and said,“ This is nothing else but the sword of Gideon the son of Joash, a man of Israel! Into his hand God has delivered Midian and the whole camp.”And so it was, when Gideon heard the telling of the dream and its interpretation, that he worshiped. He returned to the camp of Israel, and said,“ Arise, for the Lord has delivered the camp of Midian into your hand.”
