Then King Nebuchadnezzar fell prostrate before Daniel and paid him honor and ordered that an offering and incense be presented to him.The king said to Daniel,“ Surely your God is the God of gods and the Lord of kings and a revealer of mysteries, for you were able to reveal this mystery.”Then the king placed Daniel in a high position and lavished many gifts on him. He made him ruler over the entire province of Babylon and placed him in charge of all its wise men. (niv)

Joseph found favor in his eyes and became his attendant. Potiphar put him in charge of his household, and he entrusted to his care everything he owned.From the time he put him in charge of his household and of all that he owned, the Lord blessed the household of the Egyptian because of Joseph. The blessing of the Lord was on everything Potiphar had, both in the house and in the field.So Potiphar left everything he had in Joseph’s care; with Joseph in charge, he did not concern himself with anything except the food he ate. Now Joseph was well- built and handsome, (niv)

“ So then, it was not you who sent me here, but God. He made me father to Pharaoh, lord of his entire household and ruler of all Egypt.Now hurry back to my father and say to him,‘ This is what your son Joseph says: God has made me lord of all Egypt. Come down to me; don’t delay. (niv)

so that my heart was secretly enticed and my hand offered them a kiss of homage, (niv)

They told him,“ Joseph is still alive! In fact, he is ruler of all Egypt.” Jacob was stunned; he did not believe them. (niv)
