When all Egypt began to feel the famine, the people cried to Pharaoh for food. Then Pharaoh told all the Egyptians,“ Go to Joseph and do what he tells you.”

自天有聲云、此我愛子、吾所喜悅者也、

言時、景雲蓋之、雲間有聲云、此我愛子、我所喜悅者、宜聽之、

野犬猶哺其子、我民之婦、殘忍難堪、若曠野之鴕鳥兮、哺乳之嬰、厥口甚渴、齦閉舌卷兮、孩提求餅、無人擘而予之兮。素飫肥甘者、今亡於逵衢兮、昔衣絳袍、為人提抱者、今偃於糞壤兮。昔所多馬人蹈罪愆、忽致傾圮、非人使然兮、今我民犯罪遭刑、較彼尤甚兮。昔彼顯宦、皜皜無比、若雪之白、若乳之潔、色若珊瑚、體若青玉兮。今其容變黑、形消骨立、有若枯木、至彼市廛、無人識之兮。寧殞於鋒刃、不願死於饑饉、土產已絶、日漸衰微兮。維彼婦女、素懷矜恤、今民淪喪、烹子而食兮。

王為民牧、詔命釋之兮、俾治其家、理其國兮、彈壓群臣、訓迪長老、悉隨其意兮。

父喜以盛德恆備乎子、

耶利米以旱乾之事、得耶和華默示、播告於眾、曰、猶大國懷憂、邑民衰絰、哀慘靡已、耶路撒冷號呼、升聞於上。長者遣少者汲水、井泉枯竭、挈其空瓶、含羞蒙首而歸。遍地無雨、土壤燥裂、耕者抱愧、而蒙厥首。郊原無草、麀產子而遺之。野驢立於童山、噏氣若野犬、無草而目盲。

撒馬利亞糧絕、驢之一首、值金四十、鴿糞二升三合、值金二兩有半、以色列王沿城垣而過、聞婦呼曰、我主我王與、其助我。曰如耶和華不助爾、我何由助爾、或由穀場、或由酒醡、俱無從得。又曰、爾何事。曰、昔有一婦、告我曰、今日食爾子、明日食我子。於是烹我子而食之、次日我告彼曰、今當食爾子、乃彼匿其子。

爾可治我家、我民必遵爾命、獨於國君之位、則我為尊。又曰、我舉爾統轄埃及。

吾之上帝因耶穌基督、將以其富有、暢爾所欲、

夫道成人身、居於我儕之間、我儕見其榮、誠天父獨生子之榮、以恩寵真理而滿也、○約翰為之證、呼曰、我言後我來而先我在、以其本先我者、即斯人也、由其盛而我眾受恩寵、恩寵益增、
