But Joseph insisted,“ As I said, you are spies!

约瑟对他们说：“我已经说了，你们就是奸细。

約瑟說：「我才說你們是奸細，這話實在不錯。

約瑟對他們說：「我剛才對你們說過了，你們是奸細！

約瑟對他們說：「我剛才對你們說過了，你們是奸細！

約瑟說：「我說你們是奸細一點不錯。

約瑟對他們說：“我剛才對你們說：‘你們是間諜。’這話實在不錯。

約瑟對他們說：『我剛才對你們說「你們是探子」，這話正對呀。

約瑟對他們說：「我已經說了，你們就是奸細。

約瑟曰、汝為偵者、我言誠是、

約瑟曰、爾誠偵者、我言不虛。

約瑟曰、爾為偵者、我言誠是、

Joseph said to them,“ It is just as I told you: You are spies!

Joseph said to them,“ I still say you are spies!

But Joseph said to them,“ It is as I said to you. You are spies.

Then Joseph said to them,“ I have spoken:‘ You are spies!’

Yet Joseph said to them,“ It is as I said to you, you are spies;

But Joseph said to them,“ It is as I spoke to you, saying,‘ You are spies!’

And Joseph said unto them, That is it that I spake unto you, saying, Ye are spies:

Then Joseph said to them,“ I have spoken:‘ You are spies!’

And Joseph said unto them, That[ is it] that I spake unto you, saying, Ye[ are] spies:

But Joseph told them,“ It is just as I said to you: You are spies!

Joseph said to them,“ It is like I told you, saying,‘ You are spies!’

His fury burns against me; he counts me as an enemy.

And he remembered the dreams he’d had about them many years before. He said to them,“ You are spies! You have come to see how vulnerable our land has become.”“ No, my lord!” they exclaimed.“ Your servants have simply come to buy food.We are all brothers— members of the same family. We are honest men, sir! We are not spies!”

Why do you turn away from me? Why do you treat me as your enemy?

Then Jesus left Galilee and went north to the region of Tyre and Sidon.A Gentile woman who lived there came to him, pleading,“ Have mercy on me, O Lord, Son of David! For my daughter is possessed by a demon that torments her severely.”But Jesus gave her no reply, not even a word. Then his disciples urged him to send her away.“ Tell her to go away,” they said.“ She is bothering us with all her begging.”Then Jesus said to the woman,“ I was sent only to help God’s lost sheep— the people of Israel.”But she came and worshiped him, pleading again,“ Lord, help me!”Jesus responded,“ It isn’t right to take food from the children and throw it to the dogs.”She replied,“ That’s true, Lord, but even dogs are allowed to eat the scraps that fall beneath their masters’ table.”“ Dear woman,” Jesus said to her,“ your faith is great. Your request is granted.” And her daughter was instantly healed.
