雅各謂眾子曰、爾曹喪我子矣、約瑟已亡、西面亦亡、今欲取便雅憫、此皆害及我身。

他们的父亲雅各对他们说：“你们使我丧失我的儿子：约瑟没有了，西缅也没有了，你们又要将便雅悯带去；这些事都归到我身上了。”

雅各说：“你们使我连连失去儿子，约瑟没了，西缅没了，你们还要带走便雅悯！灾祸都落在了我头上！”

他们的父亲雅各对他们说：“你们总是使我丧失儿子：约瑟没有了，西缅也没有了，你们还要把便雅悯带走；每一件事都是针对我。”

他们的父亲雅各对他们说：“你们使我丧失了儿子：约瑟不在了，西缅也不在了；你们又要把本雅明带走，这一切都是冲着我来的！”

他們的父親雅各對他們說：「你們使我喪失我的兒子：約瑟沒有了，西緬也沒有了，你們又要將便雅憫帶去；這些事都歸到我身上了。」

他們的父親雅各對他們說：「你們害我喪失了我的兒子：約瑟不在了，西緬也不在了，你們還要帶走便雅憫！這些事都臨到我身上了。」

他們的父親雅各對他們說：“你們總是使我喪失兒子：約瑟沒有了，西緬也沒有了，你們還要把便雅憫帶走；每一件事都是針對我。”

他們的父親雅各對他們說：『你們逕使我喪失兒子；約瑟沒有了，西緬也沒有了，你們又要將便雅憫帶走：這些事都落到我身上來了。』

他們的父親雅各對他們說：「你們使我喪失了兒子：約瑟不在了，西緬也不在了；你們又要把便雅憫帶走，這一切都是衝著我來的！」

Their father Jacob said to them,“ You have deprived me of my children. Joseph is no more and Simeon is no more, and now you want to take Benjamin. Everything is against me!”

Their father Jacob said to them,“ You have taken my children away from me. Joseph is gone. Simeon is gone. Now you want to take Benjamin. Everything is going against me!”

And Jacob their father said to them,“ You have bereaved me of my children: Joseph is no more, and Simeon is no more, and now you would take Benjamin. All this has come against me.”

Jacob exclaimed,“ You are robbing me of my children! Joseph is gone! Simeon is gone! And now you want to take Benjamin, too. Everything is going against me!”

Their father Jacob said to them,“ It’s me that you make childless. Joseph is gone, and Simeon is gone. Now you want to take Benjamin. Everything happens to me!”

And their father Jacob said to them,“ You have deprived me of my sons: Joseph is gone, and Simeon is gone, and now you would take Benjamin; all these things are against me.”

And Jacob their father said to them,“ You have bereaved me: Joseph is no more, Simeon is no more, and you want to take Benjamin. All these things are against me.”

And Jacob their father said unto them, Me have ye bereaved of my children: Joseph is not, and Simeon is not, and ye will take Benjamin away: all these things are against me.

Their father Jacob said to them,“ You have deprived me of my sons. Joseph is gone and Simeon is gone. Now you want to take Benjamin. Everything happens to me!”

And Jacob their father said unto them, Me have ye bereaved[ of my children]: Joseph[ is] not, and Simeon[ is] not, and ye will take Benjamin[ away]: all these things are against me.

Their father Jacob said to them,“ You are making me childless! Joseph is gone. Simeon is gone. And now you want to take Benjamin! Everything is against me.”

Jacob, their father, said to them,“ You have bereaved me of my children! Joseph is no more, Simeon is no more, and you want to take Benjamin away. All these things are against me.”

願全能之上帝、使爾獲寵於其人前、遣爾兄與便雅憫歸、若我喪子、則亦已矣。○

我享綏安之時、自謂壽齡將絕、必臨窀穸、

耶穌手援之曰、小信者、何疑乎、

若此則雅各之罪、可以滌除、其惡亦堪洗濯、毀祭臺之石、使之成灰、木偶日像、不復樹立、

約瑟供養父兄眷聚、視其應需而給之。○

我儕知萬事沓來、無非益諸愛上帝者、即依其旨而見召也、

我乃爾之上帝、必左右爾、扶翼爾、手援爾、以彰仁義、故勿畏葸、勿狐疑、

曰足矣、我子約瑟尚在、我未死、必往見之。

事之始不如事之終、驕泰不如恆忍。

爾所遇試惑、亦人之常耳、上帝言出惟行、不忍爾遭莫禦之試惑、試惑中、使爾力能禦之、必出迷途、

命在呼吸、不復獲福、爾其垂念。

莫若殺之、棄於井、流言為惡獸所食、後觀其夢果驗否。流便聞之、欲救約瑟、曰、莫傷其命。流便欲援之歸父、故曰、勿流其血、勿害其身、曠野有井、投之於中可也。○約瑟至、兄褫其彩衣、投諸眢井、遂坐食餅、遙見以實馬利人、成隊以至、驅群駝負香料乳香沒藥、自基列來、欲往埃及。猶大謂諸兄曰、殺弟而匿其血、何益之有、此乃我手足之親、毋戕其生。莫若鬻與以實馬利人。兄弟允之。以實馬利人素居米田、為賈於外、將經其處、諸兄乃援約瑟出井、鬻之於賈、獲金二十。以實馬利人挈約瑟往埃及。○後流便至井、窺約瑟不在、遂裂己衣、返見諸弟曰、童子不在、我將何歸。諸昆弟宰山羊之羔、濡約瑟衣於血、遣人攜衣歸父曰、我儕得此、試觀果爾子之衣否。雅各視之曰、誠吾子之衣也、是必為惡獸所食、肢體斷傷、無疑矣。雅各遂裂己衣、衣麻慘傷、幾歷歲月。子女群來相勸、父不受慰、曰、我必悲哀、至於幽冥、就子乃已、父之痛子如此。

我耶和華爾之上帝、必攜爾手、謂爾曰、予扶翼爾、故勿恐懼、雅各家以色列族、素若蚯蚓、我耶和華乃爾聖主、必加拯救、眷祐爾躬。

蓋今時、即遘艱辛、亦為甚微、越至於後、得享至大悠久之榮、

然則何可言耶、若上帝祐我、誰能敵我、

義人多難、耶和華無不援手兮。

兄弟當忍、待主降臨、如地產嘉穀、農夫忍待、望秋霖春雨、爾亦當忍、堅爾心、主臨伊邇、兄弟勿相怨、恐其見罪、鞫者及門矣、諸先知托主名以傳教、兄弟視其忍難、當是則是傚、能忍者、我以為福、爾聞約百之忍、知主於其後、憐憫矜恤之、

大闢慮後日為掃羅所害、不如速遁於非利士人地。掃羅見我不在以色列四境、必不索我、我可脫其手。
