Then he remembered his dreams about them and said to them,“ You are spies! You have come to see where our land is unprotected.”

Then Joseph remembered his dreams about them. So he said to them,“ You are spies! You have come to see the places where our land isn’t guarded very well.”

And Joseph remembered the dreams that he had dreamed of them. And he said to them,“ You are spies; you have come to see the nakedness of the land.”

And he remembered the dreams he’d had about them many years before. He said to them,“ You are spies! You have come to see how vulnerable our land has become.”

Joseph remembered his dreams about them and said to them,“ You are spies. You have come to see the weakness of the land.”

And Joseph remembered the dreams which he had about them, and he said to them,“ You are spies; you have come to look at the undefended parts of our land.”

约瑟做了一个梦，告诉他哥哥们，他们就更加恨他。约瑟对他们说：“请听我做的这个梦：看哪，我们在田里捆禾稼；看哪，我的捆起来站着；看哪，你们的捆围着我的捆下拜。”他的哥哥们对他说：“难道你真的要作我们的王吗？难道你真的要统治我们吗？”他们就因他的梦和他的话更加恨他。后来他又做了另一个梦，告诉他哥哥们说：“看哪，我又做了一个梦；看哪，太阳、月亮和十一颗星都向我下拜。”

探子看见一个人从城里出来，就对他说：“请你把进城的路指示我们，我们会厚待你。”

两个作过探子的青年进去，把喇合与她的父母、兄弟，和她所有的带出来，他们把她所有的亲属都带出来，安置在以色列的营外。

耶和华降灾与百姓，因为他们和亚伦一起造了牛犊。

这些是摩西差派去窥探那地之人的名字。摩西叫嫩的儿子何西阿为约书亚。摩西差派他们去窥探迦南地，对他们说：“你们上到尼革夫那里，上到山区去，看看那地如何：住那里的百姓是强是弱，是多是少，他们所住的地是好是坏，所住的城镇是营地还是堡垒，那地是肥沃还是贫瘠，当中有树木没有。你们要放胆，把那地的果子带些回来。”那时正是葡萄初熟的季节。

再把你们最小的弟弟带到我这里来，我就知道你们不是奸细，是诚实的人。然后，我就把你们的兄弟交还你们，你们也可以在此地做买卖。’”

“你要派人去窥探我所赐给以色列人的迦南地；每个父系支派要派一个人，是他们中间的族长。”

因着信，妓女喇合曾友善地接待探子，就没有跟那些不顺从的人一同灭亡。

于是他们窥探耶稣，打发奸细装作好人，要在他的话上抓把柄，好把他交给总督处置。

嫩的儿子约书亚从什亭暗中派两个人作探子，说：“你们去窥探那地和耶利哥。”于是二人去了，来到一个名叫喇合的妓女家里，在那里睡觉。

“那地的主对我们说严厉的话，把我们当作窥探那地的奸细。我们对他说：‘我们是诚实的人，并不是奸细。

大卫就派人去探听，知道扫罗果然来了。

要派你们当中的一个人去，把你们的弟弟带来。至于你们，都要关在这里，好证实你们的话是不是真的。若不是，我指着法老的性命起誓，你们一定是奸细。”
