When Joseph saw Benjamin with them, he said to the steward of his house,“ Take these men to my house, slaughter an animal and prepare a meal; they are to eat with me at noon.”

約瑟命家宰曰、以粟充其人之囊、依所能負、仍反其金、

乃於門側語其家宰曰。

蓋耶和華錫嘏於爾故也。以撒遂肆筵以待、式飲式食。

宰畜釀酒、肆筵設席、

雅各在山獻祭、設席招其戚族、使共食餅、後宿於山。

我餅我水、我所宰之肉、當予剪毛者、豈可賜於不知奚自者乎、

故加以恩、使常侍左右、統轄全業、悉以所有歸其掌握。嗣後耶和華為約瑟故、錫嘏於其主、凡在室在田、咸蒙其祉。

亞伯拉罕謂治理全業之老僕曰、爾當置手於我髀下、指天地之上帝耶和華而誓、我居迦南、斯土之女、勿妻我子。必返故土、擇戚族中、為我子以撒娶焉。僕曰、浸假其女不欲來斯、則我以爾子仍歸故土、可乎。亞伯拉罕曰、慎勿使我子返於故鄉。天上上帝耶和華、昔導我遠父家、離故土、其時已有成言、誓以斯土錫我苗裔、必遣厥使、為爾先導、使爾為我子娶於故土。設女不欲來斯、則我使爾誓、與爾無與、惟不可歸我子於故土。僕遂置手於主亞伯拉罕髀下、依所言而誓。○主之全業、統轄於此僕、故於主所有之駝中取十而往、至米所波大米、拿鶴所居之邑。

亞伯蘭曰、吾主耶和華將何以賜我、蓋我無子、惟大馬色人以利亞薩為我家宰。

距邑未遠、約瑟謂家宰曰、往追其人、及之則曰、曷以惡報善乎。

子長而斷乳、斷乳之日、亞伯拉罕設盛饌。○
