僕等告我主曰、尚有父、年邁生季子、其同母兄亡矣、惟遺此子、父甚愛之、

And we answered,‘ We have an aged father, and there is a young son born to him in his old age. His brother is dead, and he is the only one of his mother’s sons left, and his father loves him.’

How were we to know he would say,‘ Bring your brother down here’?”Then Judah said to Israel his father,“ Send the boy along with me and we will go at once, so that we and you and our children may live and not die. He recognized it and said,“ It is my son’s robe! Some ferocious animal has devoured him. Joseph has surely been torn to pieces.”Then Jacob tore his clothes, put on sackcloth and mourned for his son many days.All his sons and daughters came to comfort him, but he refused to be comforted.“ No,” he said,“ I will continue to mourn until I join my son in the grave.” So his father wept for him. As she breathed her last— for she was dying— she named her son Ben-Oni. But his father named him Benjamin. (niv)

Their father Jacob said to them,“ You have deprived me of my children. Joseph is no more and Simeon is no more, and now you want to take Benjamin. Everything is against me!” (niv)

But they replied,“ Your servants were twelve brothers, the sons of one man, who lives in the land of Canaan. The youngest is now with our father, and one is no more.” (niv)

The sons of Benjamin: Bela, Beker, Ashbel, Gera, Naaman, Ehi, Rosh, Muppim, Huppim and Ard. (niv)

“ Judah, your brothers will praise you; your hand will be on the neck of your enemies; your father’s sons will bow down to you. (niv)

“ Here comes that dreamer!” they said to each other. (niv)
