So God said to Noah,“ I have decided that all living creatures must die, for the earth is filled with violence because of them. Now I am about to destroy them and the earth.

上帝就對挪亞說：『凡有血肉的，我決定要結束他們的生命了，因為全地都因了他們而滿有強暴；看吧，我要把他們、連全地、都毁滅。

神對挪亞說：「一切血肉之軀的結局已經來到我面前，因為他們使大地充滿了殘暴；看哪，我要把他們與這地一起毀滅！

上帝諭挪亞曰、凡有血氣者、厥期已盡、蓋其強暴遍滿於地、我將倂地而滅之、

上帝謂挪亞曰、緣世億兆、暴虐徧行、我必翦滅、使之云亡。○

天主謂挪亞曰、凡有血氣者將被我翦滅、因其強暴徧行、我將滅之於地、

So God said to Noah,“ I am going to put an end to all people, for the earth is filled with violence because of them. I am surely going to destroy both them and the earth.

So God said to Noah,“ I am going to put an end to everyone. They have filled the earth with their harmful acts. I am certainly going to destroy them and the earth.

And God said to Noah,“ I have determined to make an end of all flesh, for the earth is filled with violence through them. Behold, I will destroy them with the earth.

So God said to Noah,“ I have decided to destroy all living creatures, for they have filled the earth with violence. Yes, I will wipe them all out along with the earth!

Then God said to Noah,“ I have decided to put an end to every creature, for the earth is filled with wickedness because of them; therefore I am going to destroy them along with the earth.

Then God said to Noah,“ The end of humanity has come before Me; for the earth is filled with violence because of people; and behold, I am about to destroy them with the earth.

And God said to Noah,“ The end of all flesh has come before Me, for the earth is filled with violence through them; and behold, I will destroy them with the earth.

And God said unto Noah, The end of all flesh is come before me; for the earth is filled with violence through them; and, behold, I will destroy them with the earth.

Then God said to Noah,“ I have decided to put an end to every creature, for the earth is filled with wickedness because of them; therefore I am going to destroy them along with the earth.

For the culmination of all things is near. So be self- controlled and sober- minded for the sake of prayer.

“ You, son of man– this is what the sovereign LORD says to the land of Israel: An end! The end is coming on the four corners of the land!The end is now upon you, and I will release my anger against you; I will judge you according to your behavior, I will hold you accountable for all your abominable practices.My eye will not pity you; I will not spare you. For I will hold you responsible for your behavior, and you will suffer the consequences of your abominable practices. Then you will know that I am the LORD!“ This is what the sovereign LORD says: A disaster– a one-of-a-kind disaster– is coming!An end comes– the end comes! It has awakened against you– the end is upon you! Look, it is coming!

Hear the word of the LORD, you Israelites! For the LORD has a covenant lawsuit against the people of Israel. For there is neither faithfulness nor loyalty in the land, nor do they acknowledge God.There is only cursing, lying, murder, stealing, and adultery. They resort to violence and bloodshed.

But the day of the Lord will come like a thief; when it comes, the heavens will disappear with a horrific noise, and the celestial bodies will melt away in a blaze, and the earth and every deed done on it will be laid bare.Since all these things are to melt away in this manner, what sort of people must we be, conducting our lives in holiness and godliness,while waiting for and hastening the coming of the day of God? Because of this day, the heavens will be burned up and dissolve, and the celestial bodies will melt away in a blaze!

So the LORD destroyed every living thing that was on the surface of the ground, including people, animals, creatures that creep along the ground, and birds of the sky. They were wiped off the earth. Only Noah and those who were with him in the ark survived.

The earth was ruined in the sight of God; the earth was filled with violence.God saw the earth, and indeed it was ruined, for all living creatures on the earth were sinful.

Simeon and Levi are brothers, weapons of violence are their knives!

He said,“ What do you see, Amos?” I replied,“ A basket of summer fruit.” Then the LORD said to me,“ The end has come for my people Israel! I will no longer overlook their sins.

“ I looked at the land and saw that it was an empty wasteland. I looked up at the sky, and its light had vanished.I looked at the mountains and saw that they were shaking. All the hills were swaying back and forth!I looked and saw that there were no more people, and that all the birds in the sky had flown away.I looked and saw that the fruitful land had become a desert and that all of the cities had been laid in ruins. The LORD had brought this all about because of his blazing anger.All this will happen because the LORD said,“ The whole land will be desolate; however, I will not completely destroy it.Because of this the land will mourn and the sky above will grow black. For I have made my purpose known and I will not relent or turn back from carrying it out.”

The Nephilim were on the earth in those days( and also after this) when the sons of God were having sexual relations with the daughters of humankind, who gave birth to their children. They were the mighty heroes of old, the famous men.

“ You who live along the rivers of Babylon, the time of your end has come. You who are rich in plundered treasure, it is time for your lives to be cut off.

Through these things the world existing at that time was destroyed when it was deluged with water.But by the same word the present heavens and earth have been reserved for fire, by being kept for the day of judgment and destruction of the ungodly.

By faith Noah, when he was warned about things not yet seen, with reverent regard constructed an ark for the deliverance of his family. Through faith he condemned the world and became an heir of the righteousness that comes by faith.
