I am going to bring floodwaters on the earth to destroy all life under the heavens, every creature that has the breath of life in it. Everything on earth will perish.

I am going to bring a flood on the earth. It will destroy all life under the sky. It will destroy every living creature that breathes. Everything on earth will die.

For behold, I will bring a flood of waters upon the earth to destroy all flesh in which is the breath of life under heaven. Everything that is on the earth shall die.

“ Look! I am about to cover the earth with a flood that will destroy every living thing that breathes. Everything on earth will die.

“ Understand that I am bringing a flood— floodwaters on the earth to destroy every creature under heaven with the breath of life in it. Everything on earth will perish.

Every living thing that moved on land perished— birds, livestock, wild animals, all the creatures that swarm over the earth, and all mankind.Everything on dry land that had the breath of life in its nostrils died.Every living thing on the face of the earth was wiped out; people and animals and the creatures that move along the ground and the birds were wiped from the earth. to those who were disobedient long ago when God waited patiently in the days of Noah while the ark was being built. In it only a few people, eight in all, were saved through water, (niv)

The Lord sits enthroned over the flood; the Lord is enthroned as King forever. (niv)

By faith Noah, when warned about things not yet seen, in holy fear built an ark to save his family. By his faith he condemned the world and became heir of the righteousness that is in keeping with faith. (niv)

For I will be like a lion to Ephraim, like a great lion to Judah. I will tear them to pieces and go away; I will carry them off, with no one to rescue them. (niv)

People were eating, drinking, marrying and being given in marriage up to the day Noah entered the ark. Then the flood came and destroyed them all. (niv)

The seas have lifted up, Lord, the seas have lifted up their voice; the seas have lifted up their pounding waves.Mightier than the thunder of the great waters, mightier than the breakers of the sea— the Lord on high is mighty. (niv)

“ To me this is like the days of Noah, when I swore that the waters of Noah would never again cover the earth. So now I have sworn not to be angry with you, never to rebuke you again. (niv)

So God said to Noah,“ I am going to put an end to all people, for the earth is filled with violence because of them. I am surely going to destroy both them and the earth. (niv)

and say:‘ You mountains of Israel, hear the word of the Sovereign Lord. This is what the Sovereign Lord says to the mountains and hills, to the ravines and valleys: I am about to bring a sword against you, and I will destroy your high places. (niv)

So the Lord said,“ I will wipe from the face of the earth the human race I have created— and with them the animals, the birds and the creatures that move along the ground— for I regret that I have made them.” (niv)

he builds his lofty palace in the heavens and sets its foundation on the earth; he calls for the waters of the sea and pours them out over the face of the land— the Lord is his name. (niv)

For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. (niv)

“‘ Therefore this is what the Sovereign Lord says to them: See, I myself will judge between the fat sheep and the lean sheep. (niv)

I will harden the hearts of the Egyptians so that they will go in after them. And I will gain glory through Pharaoh and all his army, through his chariots and his horsemen. (niv)

so that, just as sin reigned in death, so also grace might reign through righteousness to bring eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. (niv)

then in my anger I will be hostile toward you, and I myself will punish you for your sins seven times over. (niv)

They were carried off before their time, their foundations washed away by a flood. (niv)

Pairs of all creatures that have the breath of life in them came to Noah and entered the ark. (niv)

Therefore, just as sin entered the world through one man, and death through sin, and in this way death came to all people, because all sinned—To be sure, sin was in the world before the law was given, but sin is not charged against anyone’s account where there is no law.Nevertheless, death reigned from the time of Adam to the time of Moses, even over those who did not sin by breaking a command, as did Adam, who is a pattern of the one to come. For the creation was subjected to frustration, not by its own choice, but by the will of the one who subjected it, in hopethat the creation itself will be liberated from its bondage to decay and brought into the freedom and glory of the children of God.We know that the whole creation has been groaning as in the pains of childbirth right up to the present time. (niv)

For forty days the flood kept coming on the earth, and as the waters increased they lifted the ark high above the earth. (niv)

“ I now establish my covenant with you and with your descendants after you (niv)

and they knew nothing about what would happen until the flood came and took them all away. That is how it will be at the coming of the Son of Man. (niv)

Then the Lord God formed a man from the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and the man became a living being. (niv)
