But Noah found favor in the eyes of the Lord.

But Noah found favor in Yahweh’s eyes.

Your servant has found favor with you, and you have shown me great kindness by sparing my life. But I am not able to escape to the mountains because this disaster will overtake me and I’ll die.

So the angel said to her,“ Do not be afraid, Mary, for you have found favor with God!

Therefore let us confidently approach the throne of grace to receive mercy and find grace whenever we need help.

and if he did not spare the ancient world, but did protect Noah, a herald of righteousness, along with seven others, when God brought a flood on an ungodly world,

May the Lord grant him to find mercy from the Lord on that day! And you know very well all the ways he served me in Ephesus.

For the grace of God has appeared, bringing salvation to all people.

Moses said to the LORD,“ See, you have been saying to me,‘ Bring this people up,’ but you have not let me know whom you will send with me. But you said,‘ I know you by name, and also you have found favor in my sight.’Now if I have found favor in your sight, show me your way, that I may know you, that I may continue to find favor in your sight. And see that this nation is your people.”And the LORD said,“ My presence will go with you, and I will give you rest.”And Moses said to him,“ If your presence does not go with us, do not take us up from here.For how will it be known then that I have found favor in your sight, I and your people? Is it not by your going with us, so that we will be distinguished, I and your people, from all the people who are on the face of the earth?”The LORD said to Moses,“ I will do this thing also that you have requested, for you have found favor in my sight, and I know you by name.”

Then you will find favor and good understanding, in the sight of God and people.

For the LORD God is our sovereign protector. The LORD bestows favor and honor; he withholds no good thing from those who have integrity.

But when the one who set me apart from birth and called me by his grace was pleased

But by the grace of God I am what I am, and his grace to me has not been in vain. In fact, I worked harder than all of them– yet not I, but the grace of God with me.

And so, since we have been justified by his grace, we become heirs with the confident expectation of eternal life.”

For the one who finds me finds life and receives favor from the LORD.

He found favor with God and asked that he could find a dwelling place for the house of Jacob.

And if it is by grace, it is no longer by works, otherwise grace would no longer be grace.

Now to the one who works, his pay is not credited due to grace but due to obligation.

The LORD protects those who love him, but he destroys all the wicked.

A good person obtains favor from the LORD, but the LORD condemns a person with wicked schemes.

The LORD says,“ The people of Israel who survived death at the hands of the enemy will find favor in the wilderness as they journey to find rest for themselves.
