上帝听见他们的哀声，顾念从前跟亚伯拉罕、以撒、雅各所立的约，

摩西向海伸出手，耶和华便整夜用强劲的东风吹退海水，将海底变成干地。海水分开后，

上帝眷顾拉结，听了她的祷告，使她可以生育。

这样，为了亚伯拉罕的缘故，上帝毁灭平原各城的时候，让罗得逃离所住的城市，不致丧命。

祂眷顾处于卑贱境地的我们，因为祂的慈爱永远长存。

北风带来雨水，谗言激起愤怒。

耶和华啊，求你顾念大卫和他所受的一切苦难。

但愿你把我藏在阴间，把我藏起来直到你息怒，定下眷顾我的日期。

又让民众定期供应木柴和初熟的物产。我的上帝啊，求你记念我，施恩于我。

我吩咐利未人洁净自己，然后来看守城门，尊安息日为圣日。我的上帝啊，求你因此而记念我，按你丰盛的慈爱怜悯我。

耶和华的天使对他说：“你为何三次打你的驴？我特意来阻挡你，因为你走的路在我眼中是邪路。

耶和华凭以色列的荣耀起誓：“我决不会忘记你们的所作所为。

你一声怒叱，众水便奔逃；你一声雷鸣，众水就奔流，漫过山峦，流进山谷，归到你指定的地方。你为众水划定不可逾越的界线，以免大地再遭淹没。

耶和华啊！你恩待你子民的时候，求你别忘了我；你拯救他们的时候，求你帮助我，

我的上帝啊，求你因这事而记念我，不要涂抹我为上帝的殿和其中的敬拜礼仪所做的善事。

耶和华啊，求你记住耶路撒冷沦陷时以东人的行径。他们喊道：“拆毁这城，把它夷为平地！”

我怎能不爱惜这尼尼微大城呢？城中单是连左右手都分不清的人就有十二万多，还有许多的牲畜。”

耶和华啊，我听过你的威名；耶和华啊，我对你的作为充满敬畏。求你如今再次彰显你的作为，求你发怒的时候仍以怜悯为念。

你的公义稳如高山，你的判断深不可测。耶和华啊，你保护人类，也保护牲畜。

我的上帝啊，求你记住他们，因为他们玷污了祭司的职分，违背了你与祭司和利未人所立的约。

巴比伦大城裂作三段，其他各国的城邑也都倒塌了。上帝并没有忘记巴比伦大城的罪恶，要把那杯盛满祂烈怒的酒给她喝。

因为受造之物处在虚空之下并非出于情愿，而是出于上帝的旨意。不过，受造之物仍然盼望脱离衰亡之律的奴役，享受上帝儿女荣耀的自由。我们知道一切受造之物至今都在呻吟，如同经历分娩之痛。

因为她已经罪恶滔天，上帝没有忘记她一切的不义。
