摩西向海伸出手，耶和華便整夜用強勁的東風吹退海水，將海底變成乾地。海水分開後，

上帝眷顧拉結，聽了她的禱告，使她可以生育。

這樣，為了亞伯拉罕的緣故，上帝毀滅平原各城的時候，讓羅得逃離所住的城市，不致喪命。

祂眷顧處於卑賤境地的我們，因為祂的慈愛永遠長存。

北風帶來雨水，讒言激起憤怒。

耶和華啊，求你顧念大衛和他所受的一切苦難。

但願你把我藏在陰間，把我藏起來直到你息怒，定下眷顧我的日期。

又讓民眾定期供應木柴和初熟的物產。我的上帝啊，求你記念我，施恩於我。

我吩咐利未人潔淨自己，然後來看守城門，尊安息日為聖日。我的上帝啊，求你因此而記念我，按你豐盛的慈愛憐憫我。

耶和華的天使對他說：「你為何三次打你的驢？我特意來阻擋你，因為你走的路在我眼中是邪路。

耶和華憑以色列的榮耀起誓：「我決不會忘記你們的所作所為。

你一聲怒叱，眾水便奔逃；你一聲雷鳴，眾水就奔流，漫過山巒，流進山谷，歸到你指定的地方。你為眾水劃定不可逾越的界線，以免大地再遭淹沒。

耶和華啊！你恩待你子民的時候，求你別忘了我；你拯救他們的時候，求你幫助我，

我的上帝啊，求你因這事而記念我，不要塗抹我為上帝的殿和其中的敬拜禮儀所做的善事。

耶和華啊，求你記住耶路撒冷淪陷時以東人的行徑。他們喊道：「拆毀這城，把它夷為平地！」

我怎能不愛惜這尼尼微大城呢？城中單是連左右手都分不清的人就有十二萬多，還有許多的牲畜。」

耶和華啊，我聽過你的威名；耶和華啊，我對你的作為充滿敬畏。求你如今再次彰顯你的作為，求你發怒的時候仍以憐憫為念。

你的公義穩如高山，你的判斷深不可測。耶和華啊，你保護人類，也保護牲畜。

我的上帝啊，求你記住他們，因為他們玷污了祭司的職分，違背了你與祭司和利未人所立的約。

巴比倫大城裂作三段，其他各國的城邑也都倒塌了。上帝並沒有忘記巴比倫大城的罪惡，要把那杯盛滿祂烈怒的酒給她喝。

因為受造之物處在虛空之下並非出於情願，而是出於上帝的旨意。不過，受造之物仍然盼望脫離衰亡之律的奴役，享受上帝兒女榮耀的自由。我們知道一切受造之物至今都在呻吟，如同經歷分娩之痛。

因為她已經罪惡滔天，上帝沒有忘記她一切的不義。
