For your lifeblood I will surely exact punishment, from every living creature I will exact punishment. From each person I will exact punishment for the life of the individual since the man was his relative.

流你们血、害你们命的，无论是兽是人，我必讨他的罪，就是向各人的弟兄也是如此。

流你们血、害你们命的，我必向他追讨；我要向一切走兽追讨，向人和向人的弟兄追讨人命。

凡是杀人害命的，无论人或兽，我必向他们追讨血债。凡杀人的，我必追讨他的血债。

至于你们的生命之血，我必为你们追讨：我要向野兽追讨，我也要向人，甚至向各人的兄弟追讨人命。

凡是殺人害命的，無論人或獸，我必向他們追討血債。凡殺人的，我必追討他的血債。

流你們的血、害你們生命的，我必向他們追償；無論是走獸或人類，甚至各人自己的兄弟，我必要他償命。

實在的，流你們的血、流你們性命之血的罪，我總要討罰的；我要向各樣走獸討罰：向人的手、向每一個人兄弟的手、討罰那害人性命的罪。

至於你們的生命之血，我必為你們追討：我要向野獸追討，我也要向人，甚至向各人的兄弟追討人命。

有流爾血、害爾命者、或獸或人、我必討之、凡害人命者、我必討之、

或獸傷人、或人相殺、凡流血殞命、殘害兄弟者、我必伸其冤。

有害爾命流爾血者、或獸或人、我必討其罪、人與人為兄弟、人若害人命、我必討其罪、

And for your lifeblood I will surely demand an accounting. I will demand an accounting from every animal. And from each human being, too, I will demand an accounting for the life of another human being.

I will certainly hold someone accountable if you are murdered. I will even hold animals accountable if they kill you. I will also hold anyone accountable who murders another person.

And for your lifeblood I will require a reckoning: from every beast I will require it and from man. From his fellow man I will require a reckoning for the life of man.

“ And I will require the blood of anyone who takes another person’s life. If a wild animal kills a person, it must die. And anyone who murders a fellow human must die.

And I will require a penalty for your lifeblood; I will require it from any animal and from any human; if someone murders a fellow human, I will require that person’s life.

I certainly will require your lifeblood; from every animal I will require it. And from every person, from every man as his brother I will require the life of a person.

Surely for your lifeblood I will demand a reckoning; from the hand of every beast I will require it, and from the hand of man. From the hand of every man’s brother I will require the life of man.

And surely your blood, the blood of your lives, will I require; at the hand of every beast will I require it: and at the hand of man, even at the hand of every man’s brother, will I require the life of man.

I will require the life of every animal and every man for your life and your blood. I will require the life of each man’s brother for a man’s life.

And surely your blood of your lives will I require; at the hand of every beast will I require it, and at the hand of man; at the hand of every man’s brother will I require the life of man.

I will surely require accounting for your life’s blood. At the hand of every animal I will require it. At the hand of man, even at the hand of every man’s brother, I will require the life of man.

“ If an ox gores a man or a woman so that either dies, then the ox must surely be stoned and its flesh must not be eaten, but the owner of the ox will be acquitted.But if the ox had the habit of goring, and its owner was warned, and he did not take the necessary precautions, and then it killed a man or a woman, the ox must be stoned and the man must be put to death.

Then the LORD said to Cain,“ Where is your brother Abel?” And he replied,“ I don’t know! Am I my brother’s guardian?”But the LORD said,“ What have you done? The voice of your brother’s blood is crying out to me from the ground!

“ Whoever strikes someone so that he dies must surely be put to death.

so that on you will come all the righteous blood shed on earth, from the blood of righteous Abel to the blood of Zechariah son of Barachiah, whom you murdered between the temple and the altar.

You must not go about as a slanderer among your people. You must not stand idly by when your neighbor’s life is at stake. I am the LORD.

For the one who takes revenge against murderers took notice of the oppressed; he did not overlook their cry for help

Moreover, you must not accept a ransom for the life of a murderer who is guilty of death; he must surely be put to death.And you must not accept a ransom for anyone who has fled to a town of refuge, to allow him to return home and live on his own land before the death of the high priest.“ You must not pollute the land where you live, for blood defiles the land, and the land cannot be cleansed of the blood that is shed there, except by the blood of the person who shed it.

“ You shall not murder.

If a homicide victim should be found lying in a field in the land the LORD your God is giving you, and no one knows who killed him,your elders and judges must go out and measure how far it is to the cities in the vicinity of the corpse.Then the elders of the city nearest to the corpse must take from the herd a heifer that has not been worked– that has never pulled with the yoke–and bring the heifer down to a wadi with flowing water, to a valley that is neither plowed nor sown. There at the wadi they are to break the heifer’s neck.Then the Levitical priests will approach( for the LORD your God has chosen them to serve him and to pronounce blessings in his name, and to decide every judicial verdict)and all the elders of that city nearest the corpse must wash their hands over the heifer whose neck was broken in the valley.Then they must proclaim,“ Our hands have not spilled this blood, nor have we witnessed the crime.Do not blame your people Israel whom you redeemed, O LORD, and do not hold them accountable for the bloodshed of an innocent person.” Then atonement will be made for the bloodshed.In this manner you will purge out the guilt of innocent blood from among you, for you must do what is right before the LORD.
