她中間的首領是吼叫的獅子；她的審判官是晚上的豺狼，一點啃骨肉也不留到早晨。

永恆主必從遠方、從地儘邊把一國的人帶來像兀鷹突飛猛攫來攻擊你。這一國說的話你不曉得聽，

口吹號角哦！敵人如鷹來攻打永恆主的家了；因為這人民越犯了我的約，違背了我的律法。

說：主永恆主這麼說：有一隻鷹、翅膀大、翎翼長、羽毛豐滿、具有五彩色的、來到利巴嫩，將香柏樹的梢兒擰去；

因此必有森林中的獅子要撲殺他們，有原野上的豺狼要殺滅他們，有豹子在靜伺着機會要攻擊他們的城市；凡出城的都必被撕碎；因為他們的過犯很多，他們對正道、轉離得很厲害。

追趕我們的比空中的鷹還快；他們在山上把我們追得火急，在曠野埋伏等着我們。

門徒應時問他說：『主啊，在哪裏呢？』他對他們說：『屍身在哪裏，兀鷹也必聚在哪裏。』

「屍體在哪裏，兀鷹也必聚在哪裏。」

『你要對叛逆之家說：你們不知道這些事是甚麼意思麼？你要告訴他們說：看哪，巴比倫王曾經來到耶路撒冷，將其中的王和首領帶到巴比倫自己那裏。

他必豎起旌旗招一國的人從遠方而來，吹口哨叫他們從地儘邊來到；看吧，他們必迅速輕快地趕來；他們中間沒有疲乏或跌倒的，沒有打盹或睡覺的；他們的腰帶並不放鬆，他們的鞋帶也不折斷；他們的箭快利，他們的弓都上了弦；他們的馬蹄算來像火石，他們的車輪好像旋風。
