In speaking of the angels he says,“ He makes his angels spirits, and his servants flames of fire.”

Here is something else God says about the angels.“ God makes his angels to be like spirits. He makes those who serve him to be like flashes of lightning.”( Psalm 104:4)

Of the angels he says,“ He makes his angels winds, and his ministers a flame of fire.”

Regarding the angels, he says,“ He sends his angels like the winds, his servants like flames of fire.”

And about the angels he says: He makes his angels winds, and his servants a fiery flame,

And regarding the angels He says,“ He makes His angels winds, And His ministers a flame of fire.”

And of the angels He says:“ Who makes His angels spirits And His ministers a flame of fire.”

And of the angels he saith, Who maketh his angels winds, And his ministers a flame of fire:

And Elisha prayed,“ Open his eyes, Lord, so that he may see.” Then the Lord opened the servant’s eyes, and he looked and saw the hills full of horses and chariots of fire all around Elisha. (niv)

The angel answered me,“ These are the four spirits of heaven, going out from standing in the presence of the Lord of the whole world. (niv)

As they were walking along and talking together, suddenly a chariot of fire and horses of fire appeared and separated the two of them, and Elijah went up to heaven in a whirlwind. (niv)

The appearance of the living creatures was like burning coals of fire or like torches. Fire moved back and forth among the creatures; it was bright, and lightning flashed out of it.The creatures sped back and forth like flashes of lightning. (niv)

Are not all angels ministering spirits sent to serve those who will inherit salvation? (niv)

A river of fire was flowing, coming out from before him. Thousands upon thousands attended him; ten thousand times ten thousand stood before him. The court was seated, and the books were opened. (niv)

Above him were seraphim, each with six wings: With two wings they covered their faces, with two they covered their feet, and with two they were flying. (niv)
