耶和華啊，求你聽我的禱告，留心聽我的呼求！我流淚，求你不要靜默無聲！因為我在你面前是客旅，是寄居的，像我列祖一般。

「我在你們中間是外人，是寄居的。求你們在這裏給我一塊地，我好埋葬我的死人，使她不在我眼前。」

論到這救恩，那預先說你們要得恩典的眾先知早已詳細地尋求考察，就是考察在他們心裏基督的靈，預先證明基督受苦難，後來得榮耀，是指着甚麼時候，並怎樣的時候。他們得了啟示，知道他們所傳講的一切事，不是為自己，乃是為你們。那靠着從天上差來的聖靈傳福音給你們的人，現在將這些事報給你們；天使也願意詳細察看這些事。

且滿心相信神所應許的必能做成。

他說：「我如今老了，不知道哪一天死。現在拿你的器械，就是箭囊和弓，往田野去為我打獵，照我所愛的做成美味，拿來給我吃，使我在未死之先給你祝福。」

親愛的弟兄啊，你們是客旅，是寄居的。我勸你們要禁戒肉體的私慾；這私慾是與靈魂爭戰的。

你們既稱那不偏待人、按各人行為審判人的主為父，就當存敬畏的心度你們在世寄居的日子，

約瑟對他弟兄們說：「我要死了，但神必定看顧你們，領你們從這地上去，到他起誓所應許給亞伯拉罕、以撒、雅各之地。」

我是在地上作寄居的；求你不要向我隱瞞你的命令！

以色列又對約瑟說：「我要死了，但神必與你們同在，領你們回到你們列祖之地。

「我算甚麼，我的民算甚麼，竟能如此樂意奉獻？因為萬物都從你而來，我們把從你而得的獻給你。我們在你面前是客旅，是寄居的，與我們列祖一樣。我們在世的日子如影兒，不能長存。

雅各囑咐眾子已畢，就把腳收在牀上，氣絕而死，歸他列祖那裏去了。

我看他卻不在現時；我望他卻不在近日。有星要出於雅各，有杖要興於以色列，必打破摩押的四角，毀壞擾亂之子。

以賽亞因為看見他的榮耀，就指着他說這話。

圭必不離猶大，杖必不離他兩腳之間，直等細羅來到，萬民都必歸順。

這一切是以色列的十二支派；這也是他們的父親對他們所說的話，為他們所祝的福，都是按着各人的福分為他們祝福。
