以諾有信、得不死而接於天、天主既接之、人不復見之、未接之先、已得見悅於天主之證、

伊諾被攝昇天、未嘗見死、蓋「天主攝之、人間無得而再遇、」是亦信德之效也。何則、彼於被攝之前、固已得見悅於天主之明證。

By faith Enoch was taken from this life, so that he did not experience death:“ He could not be found, because God had taken him away.” For before he was taken, he was commended as one who pleased God.

以諾活到六十五歲，生了瑪土撒拉。以諾生瑪土撒拉之後，與神同行三百年，並且生兒養女。以諾共活了三百六十五歲。以諾與神同行，神將他取去，他就不在世了。

他們正走着說話，忽有火車火馬將二人隔開，以利亞就乘旋風升天去了。

誰能常活免死、救他的靈魂脫離陰間的權柄呢？（細拉）

我實實在在地告訴你們，人若遵守我的道，就永遠不見死。」猶太人對他說：「現在我們知道你是鬼附着的。亞伯拉罕死了，眾先知也死了，你還說：『人若遵守我的道，就永遠不嘗死味。』

人非有信，就不能得神的喜悅；因為到神面前來的人必須信有神，且信他賞賜那尋求他的人。

對他說：「僕人們這裏有五十個壯士，求你容他們去尋找你師傅，或者耶和華的靈將他提起來，投在某山某谷。」以利沙說：「你們不必打發人去。」他們再三催促他，他難以推辭，就說：「你們打發人去吧！」他們便打發五十人去，尋找了三天，也沒有找着。

亞當的七世孫以諾曾預言這些人說：「看哪，主帶着他的千萬聖者降臨，

從各民、各族、各方、各國中，有人觀看他們的屍首三天半，又不許把屍首放在墳墓裏。住在地上的人就為他們歡喜快樂，互相餽送禮物，因這兩位先知曾叫住在地上的人受痛苦。過了這三天半，有生氣從神那裏進入他們裏面，他們就站起來；看見他們的人甚是害怕。兩位先知聽見有大聲音從天上來，對他們說：「上到這裏來。」他們就駕着雲上了天，他們的仇敵也看見了。

拉麥是瑪土撒拉的兒子；瑪土撒拉是以諾的兒子；以諾是雅列的兒子；雅列是瑪勒列的兒子；瑪勒列是該南的兒子；該南是以挪士的兒子；

我們因着信，就知道諸世界是藉神的話造成的；這樣，所看見的，並不是從顯然之物造出來的。亞伯因着信，獻祭與神，比該隱所獻的更美，因此便得了稱義的見證，就是神指他禮物作的見證。他雖然死了，卻因這信，仍舊說話。

而且屬肉體的人不能得神的喜歡。如果神的靈住在你們心裏，你們就不屬肉體，乃屬聖靈了。人若沒有基督的靈，就不是屬基督的。

但神既然驗中了我們，把福音託付我們，我們就照樣講，不是要討人喜歡，乃是要討那察驗我們心的神喜歡。

王就吩咐哈米勒的兒子耶拉篾和亞斯列的兒子西萊雅，並亞伯疊的兒子示利米雅，去捉拿文士巴錄和先知耶利米。耶和華卻將他們隱藏。
