夫爾非至可捫火炎之山、及幽冥、昏暗、暴風、

爾所至者、非有形之山、在彼火焰靉靆、幽暗暴風、

爾所至者、非彼可捫之山、在彼有烈火、密雲、幽暗、暴風、

應知爾今所陟者、非一有形之山、其上有火焰靉靆、幽冥暴風。

You have not come to a mountain that can be touched and that is burning with fire; to darkness, gloom and storm;

You haven’t come to a mountain that can be touched. You haven’t come to a mountain burning with fire. You haven’t come to darkness, gloom and storm.

For you have not come to what may be touched, a blazing fire and darkness and gloom and a tempest

You have not come to a physical mountain, to a place of flaming fire, darkness, gloom, and whirlwind, as the Israelites did at Mount Sinai.

For you have not come to what could be touched, to a blazing fire, to darkness, gloom, and storm,

For you have not come to the mountain that may be touched and that burned with fire, and to blackness and darkness and tempest,

那時，你們近前來，站在山下；山上有火燃燒，直沖天頂，並有黑暗、密雲、幽暗。

眾百姓見雷轟、閃電、角聲、山上冒煙，百姓看見就都戰抖，遠遠站着。

「這些話是耶和華在山上，從火焰、密雲、幽暗中，大聲吩咐你們全會眾的，再沒有加添別的話了。他把這些話寫在兩塊石版上，交給我。山被火焰燒着，你們聽見從黑暗中發出的聲音，那時，你們各支派的領袖和長老都挨近我。你們說：『看哪，耶和華－我們的神將他的榮耀和他的偉大顯給我們看，我們也聽見他從火中發出的聲音。今日我們看到神與人說話，人還活着。現在這大火將要吞滅我們，我們何必死呢？若再聽見耶和華我們神的聲音，我們就必死。凡血肉之軀，有誰像我們一樣，聽見了永生神從火中講話的聲音還能活着呢？

耶和華的榮耀在山頂上，在以色列人眼前，形狀如吞噬的火。

因為神賜給我們的不是膽怯的心，而是剛強、仁愛、自制的心。

你們所領受的不是奴僕的靈，仍舊害怕；所領受的是兒子名分的靈，因此我們呼叫：「阿爸，父！」

若是那使人定罪的事奉有榮光，那使人稱義的事奉的榮光就越發大了。

你要在山的周圍給百姓劃定界限，說：『你們當謹慎，不可上山去，也不可摸山的邊界。凡摸這山的，必被處死。不可用手碰他，要用石頭打死，或射死；無論是人是牲畜，都不可活。』到角聲拉長的時候，他們才可到山腳來。」摩西下山到百姓那裏去，使他們分別為聖，他們就洗衣服。他對百姓說：「第三天要預備好；不可親近女人。」到了第三天早晨，山上有雷轟、閃電和密雲，並且角聲非常響亮，營中的百姓盡都戰抖。摩西率領百姓出營迎見神，都站在山下。西奈山全山冒煙，因為耶和華在火中降臨山上。山的煙霧上騰，彷彿燒窰，整座山劇烈震動。角聲越來越響，摩西說話，神以聲音回答他。耶和華降臨在西奈山頂上，耶和華召摩西上山頂，摩西就上去了。耶和華對摩西說：「你下去警告百姓，免得他們闖過來看耶和華，就會有許多人死亡。那些親近耶和華的祭司也要把自己分別為聖，免得耶和華忽然出來擊殺他們。」

罪必不能作你們的主，因你們不在律法之下，而是在恩典之下。
