又说：“我要信靠他。”又说：“看哪，我和神所赐给我的孩子们。”

又云、我將賴之、又云、試觀我及上帝所賜我之眾子、

又曰、吾必賴父、又曰、吾與上帝所賜之子、俱在乎此、

又曰、我仰賴天主、又曰、我與天主所賜我之眾子在此、

又曰：『小子何所恃、所恃惟天主。』『看我率眾子、眾子主所賜。』

And again,“ I will put my trust in him.” And again he says,“ Here am I, and the children God has given me.”

Again he says,“ I will put my trust in him.”( Isaiah 8:17) And again he says,“ Here I am. Here are the children God has given me.”( Isaiah 8:18)

Again he says,“ I will be confident in him,” and again,“ Here I am, with the children God has given me.”

Again,“ I will put my trust in him.” Again,“ Behold, here I am with the children whom God has given me.”

And I will wait for Jehovah, that hideth his face from the house of Jacob, and I will look for him.Behold, I and the children whom Jehovah hath given me are for signs and for wonders in Israel from Jehovah of hosts, who dwelleth in mount Zion.

Behold, God is my salvation; I will trust, and will not be afraid: for Jehovah, even Jehovah, is my strength and song; and he is become my salvation.

I will say of Jehovah, He is my refuge and my fortress; My God, in whom I trust.

My Father, who hath given them unto me, is greater than all; and no one is able to snatch them out of the Father’s hand.

Jehovah is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer; My God, my rock, in whom I will take refuge; My shield, and the horn of my salvation, my high tower.

And he lifted up his eyes, and saw the women and the children; and said, Who are these with thee? And he said, The children whom God hath graciously given thy servant.

And Joseph said unto his father, They are my sons, whom God hath given me here. And he said, Bring them, I pray thee, unto me, and I will bless them.

God, my rock, in him will I take refuge; My shield, and the horn of my salvation, my high tower, and my refuge; My saviour, thou savest me from violence.

Preserve me, O God; for in thee do I take refuge.

How precious is thy lovingkindness, O God! And the children of men take refuge under the shadow of thy wings.They shall be abundantly satisfied with the fatness of thy house; And thou wilt make them drink of the river of thy pleasures.

Yet it pleased Jehovah to bruise him; he hath put him to grief: when thou shalt make his soul an offering for sin, he shall see his seed, he shall prolong his days, and the pleasure of Jehovah shall prosper in his hand.

For though ye have ten thousand tutors in Christ, yet have ye not many fathers; for in Christ Jesus I begat you through the gospel.

For the Lord Jehovah will help me; therefore have I not been confounded: therefore have I set my face like a flint, and I know that I shall not be put to shame.He is near that justifieth me; who will contend with me? let us stand up together: who is mine adversary? let him come near to me.Behold, the Lord Jehovah will help me; who is he that shall condemn me? behold, they all shall wax old as a garment; the moth shall eat them up.

Lo, children are a heritage of Jehovah; And the fruit of the womb is his reward.

He trusteth on God; let him deliver him now, if he desireth him: for he said, I am the Son of God.

I manifested thy name unto the men whom thou gavest me out of the world: thine they were, and thou gavest them to me; and they have kept thy word.Now they know that all things whatsoever thou hast given me are from thee:for the words which thou gavest me I have given unto them; and they received them, and knew of a truth that I came forth from thee, and they believed that thou didst send me.I pray for them: I pray not for the world, but for those whom thou hast given me; for they are thine:and all things that are mine are thine, and thine are mine: and I am glorified in them.And I am no more in the world, and these are in the world, and I come to thee. Holy Father, keep them in thy name which thou hast given me, that they may be one, even as we are.While I was with them, I kept them in thy name which thou hast given me: and I guarded them, and not one of them perished, but the son of perdition; that the scripture might be fulfilled.
