同樣，我口中所出的話也不會徒然返回，而是要成就我的旨意，實現我的計劃。

要戴上救恩的頭盔，緊握聖靈的寶劍——上帝的話。

你們獲得重生，不是藉著會腐爛的種子，而是藉著不會腐爛的種子——上帝活潑永存的道。

祂使我的口像利劍，用祂的手護庇我；祂使我成為磨亮的箭，把我藏在祂的箭囊中。

你的話語一解明，就發出亮光，使愚人得到啟迪。

祂右手拿著七顆星，口中吐出一把兩刃的利劍，面貌如烈日放光。

我們不住地感謝上帝，因為你們從我們這裡聽了上帝的道後就接受了，確信這不是人的道理，而是上帝的道。這道正在你們信的人心裡發揮作用。

我不以福音為恥，因為這福音是上帝的大能，要拯救一切相信的人，先是猶太人，然後是希臘人。

祂口中吐出一把利劍，可以攻擊列國。祂必用鐵杖統治他們，踩踏盛滿全能上帝之烈怒的榨酒池。

我耶和華鑒察人心，察看人的意念，按照人的行為報應人。」

我們爭戰的兵器不是屬血氣的，乃是從上帝而來的能力，可以摧毀堅固的營壘，擊破一切的謬論和阻礙人們認識上帝的驕傲言論，奪回被擄去的心思意念，使其順服基督。

然而，一切的事被光一照，都會真相大白，

願他們高聲頌讚耶和華，手握兩刃利劍向列國復仇，在列邦中施行懲罰，

主是活石，雖然被人棄絕，卻被上帝揀選、視為寶貴。你們也如同活石，被用來建造屬靈的宮殿，好做聖潔的祭司，藉著耶穌基督獻上蒙上帝悅納的靈祭。

我或坐下或起來，你都知道，你從遠處就知道我的心思意念。

但如果你們都做先知講道，偶然有非信徒或是不懂方言的人進來，他會醒悟到自己的罪，良心受到譴責，心中的秘密也會顯露出來，便會俯伏敬拜上帝，說：「上帝真的在你們當中！」

我就是天上降下來的生命之糧，人吃了這糧，必永遠活著。我將要賜下的糧就是我的肉，是為了讓世人得到生命。」

怪獸的殘兵紛紛被白馬騎士口中的利劍所殺，飛鳥飽餐了他們的肉。

所以你要悔改，否則我必迅速到你那裡，用我口中的劍攻擊他們。

禱告完後，聚會的地方震動起來，他們都被聖靈充滿，放膽傳揚上帝的道。

你們要記住從前帶領你們、把上帝的道傳給你們的人，留心觀察他們一生如何行事為人，效法他們的信心。

我看見許多寶座，上面坐著的人得到了審判的權柄。他們是為基督做見證、為了上帝的道而被斬首之人的靈魂。他們沒有拜獸和獸像，額上或手上也沒有蓋獸印。他們都一同復活，與基督同掌王權一千年。

我要擊殺她的爪牙，使眾教會都知道我洞察人的心思意念，我要照你們各人的行為對待你們。

這個比喻的意思是這樣，種子代表上帝的道，

願賜平安的上帝使你們完全聖潔！願祂保守你們的靈、魂、體，使你們在主耶穌基督再來的時候無可指責！

偉大的王啊，佩上你的寶劍，你是何等尊貴、威嚴！

祂按照自己的旨意，藉著真道重生了我們，使我們在祂所造的萬物之中好像初熟的果實。

他們聽了彼得的話，覺得扎心，就對彼得和其他使徒說：「弟兄們，我們該怎麼辦呢？」

而是按公義審判貧窮人，以公正為受苦者斷案。他必用口中的杖擊打世界，以嘴裡的氣殺戮惡人。

我們棄絕了見不得人的可恥行為，不用狡詐的手段，不曲解上帝的道，而是把真理講解明白，好讓大家的良心在上帝面前為我們作證。

我們並不像許多人為了謀利而出賣上帝的道。我們是上帝差遣的，在上帝面前靠著基督誠誠實實地講道。

智者的言語好像趕牛的刺棍，他們收集的箴言像釘穩的釘子一樣牢靠，都是一位牧者所賜的。

最後卻苦如艾草，鋒利似雙刃劍。

耶和華必從錫安擴展你的王權，你必統管你的仇敵。

但對於蒙召的人，無論是猶太人還是希臘人，基督是上帝的能力、上帝的智慧。

他們聽了，怒氣衝天，打算殺掉使徒。
