故當毅然至沾恩之位之前、得矜恤恩寵、適合機宜而助我、

故我儕當毅然至施恩之寶座前、則可蒙矜恤、受恩寵、隨時得祐助焉、

是故吾人儘可拓開心胸、從容自在、趨近慈恩座前、俾蒙憐恤、而獲及時之恩佑也。

Let us then approach God’s throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need.

So let us boldly approach God’s throne of grace. Then we will receive mercy. We will find grace to help us when we need it.

So we say with confidence,“ The Lord is my helper; I will not be afraid. What can mere mortals do to me?” (niv)

Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. (niv)

Seek the Lord while he may be found; call on him while he is near.Let the wicked forsake their ways and the unrighteous their thoughts. Let them turn to the Lord, and he will have mercy on them, and to our God, for he will freely pardon. (niv)

Three times I pleaded with the Lord to take it away from me.But he said to me,“ My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me.That is why, for Christ’s sake, I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties. For when I am weak, then I am strong. (niv)

The Spirit you received does not make you slaves, so that you live in fear again; rather, the Spirit you received brought about your adoption to sonship. “ Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you.For everyone who asks receives; the one who seeks finds; and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened.“ Which of you, if your son asks for bread, will give him a stone?Or if he asks for a fish, will give him a snake?If you, then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give good gifts to those who ask him! For through him we both have access to the Father by one Spirit. (niv)

Once you were not a people, but now you are the people of God; once you had not received mercy, but now you have received mercy. (niv)

“ Make an atonement cover of pure gold— two and a half cubits long and a cubit and a half wide.And make two cherubim out of hammered gold at the ends of the cover.Make one cherub on one end and the second cherub on the other; make the cherubim of one piece with the cover, at the two ends.The cherubim are to have their wings spread upward, overshadowing the cover with them. The cherubim are to face each other, looking toward the cover.Place the cover on top of the ark and put in the ark the tablets of the covenant law that I will give you.There, above the cover between the two cherubim that are over the ark of the covenant law, I will meet with you and give you all my commands for the Israelites. When its twigs are dry, they are broken off and women come and make fires with them. For this is a people without understanding; so their Maker has no compassion on them, and their Creator shows them no favor. (niv)
