故此，他必须在各方面都像他的弟兄们那样，为要在属神的事上成为怜悯人的、忠心的大祭司，好为子民的罪孽献上平息祭。

他不需要像其他大祭司那样天天献祭：先为自己的罪孽，然后为子民；因为当他把自己献上的时候，就一次性地把这事完成了。

因着信，亚伯向神献上的祭物比该隐所献的更好，就藉着信受到了赞许成为义人，因为神赞许他的礼物。他虽然死了，但藉着信仍然说话。
