婦再懷孕生女、主諭何西阿曰、可稱其名曰羅路哈瑪、羅路哈瑪譯即不蒙矜憫之義蓋我不復矜憫以色列族、不復赦免之、不復赦免之或作必除之殆盡

Gomer conceived again and gave birth to a daughter. Then the Lord said to Hosea,“ Call her Lo- Ruhamah( which means“ not loved”), for I will no longer show love to Israel, that I should at all forgive them.

Gomer became pregnant again. She had a daughter. Then the Lord said to Hosea,“ Name her Lo- Ruhamah.” Lo- Ruhamah means Not Loved.“ That’s because I will no longer show love to the people of Israel. I will not forgive them anymore.

Soon Gomer became pregnant again and gave birth to a daughter. And the Lord said to Hosea,“ Name your daughter Lo ruhamah—‘ Not loved’— for I will no longer show love to the people of Israel or forgive them.

She conceived again and gave birth to a daughter, and the LORD said to him: Name her Lo-ruhamah, for I will no longer have compassion on the house of Israel. I will certainly take them away.

Then she conceived again and gave birth to a daughter. And the Lord said to him,“ Name her Lo ruhamah, for I will no longer take pity on the house of Israel, that I would ever forgive them.

And she conceived again and bore a daughter. Then God said to him:“ Call her name Lo-Ruhamah, For I will no longer have mercy on the house of Israel, But I will utterly take them away.

And she conceived again, and bare a daughter. And Jehovah said unto him, Call her name Lo- ruhamah; for I will no more have mercy upon the house of Israel, that I should in any wise pardon them.

She conceived again and gave birth to a daughter, and the Lord said to him: Name her No Compassion, for I will no longer have compassion on the house of Israel. I will certainly take them away.

And she conceived again, and bare a daughter. And[ God] said unto him, Call her name Loruhamah: for I will no more have mercy upon the house of Israel; but I will utterly take them away.

She conceived again and gave birth to a daughter. Then the LORD said to him,“ Name her‘ No Pity’( Lo-Ruhamah) because I will no longer have pity on the nation of Israel. For I will certainly not forgive their guilt.

She conceived again, and bore a daughter. Then he said to him,“ Call her name Lo- Ruhamah; for I will no longer have mercy on the house of Israel, that I should in any way pardon them.

In the ninth year of Hoshea, the king of Assyria captured Samaria, and he carried the Israelites away to Assyria and placed them in Halah, and on the Habor, the river of Gozan, and in the cities of the Medes.

Once you were not a people, but now you are God’s people; once you had not received mercy, but now you have received mercy.

and I will sow her for myself in the land. And I will have mercy on No Mercy, and I will say to Not My People,‘ You are my people’; and he shall say,‘ You are my God.’”

Upon her children also I will have no mercy, because they are children of whoredom.

Every evil of theirs is in Gilgal; there I began to hate them. Because of the wickedness of their deeds I will drive them out of my house. I will love them no more; all their princes are rebels.Ephraim is stricken; their root is dried up; they shall bear no fruit. Even though they give birth, I will put their beloved children to death.My God will reject them because they have not listened to him; they shall be wanderers among the nations.

until the Lord removed Israel out of his sight, as he had spoken by all his servants the prophets. So Israel was exiled from their own land to Assyria until this day.And the king of Assyria brought people from Babylon, Cuthah, Avva, Hamath, and Sepharvaim, and placed them in the cities of Samaria instead of the people of Israel. And they took possession of Samaria and lived in its cities.And at the beginning of their dwelling there, they did not fear the Lord. Therefore the Lord sent lions among them, which killed some of them.So the king of Assyria was told,“ The nations that you have carried away and placed in the cities of Samaria do not know the law of the god of the land. Therefore he has sent lions among them, and behold, they are killing them, because they do not know the law of the god of the land.”Then the king of Assyria commanded,“ Send there one of the priests whom you carried away from there, and let him go and dwell there and teach them the law of the god of the land.”So one of the priests whom they had carried away from Samaria came and lived in Bethel and taught them how they should fear the Lord.But every nation still made gods of its own and put them in the shrines of the high places that the Samaritans had made, every nation in the cities in which they lived.The men of Babylon made Succoth-benoth, the men of Cuth made Nergal, the men of Hamath made Ashima,and the Avvites made Nibhaz and Tartak; and the Sepharvites burned their children in the fire to Adrammelech and Anammelech, the gods of Sepharvaim.They also feared the Lord and appointed from among themselves all sorts of people as priests of the high places, who sacrificed for them in the shrines of the high places.So they feared the Lord but also served their own gods, after the manner of the nations from among whom they had been carried away.To this day they do according to the former manner. They do not fear the Lord, and they do not follow the statutes or the rules or the law or the commandment that the Lord commanded the children of Jacob, whom he named Israel.The Lord made a covenant with them and commanded them,“ You shall not fear other gods or bow yourselves to them or serve them or sacrifice to them,but you shall fear the Lord, who brought you out of the land of Egypt with great power and with an outstretched arm. You shall bow yourselves to him, and to him you shall sacrifice.And the statutes and the rules and the law and the commandment that he wrote for you, you shall always be careful to do. You shall not fear other gods,and you shall not forget the covenant that I have made with you. You shall not fear other gods,but you shall fear the Lord your God, and he will deliver you out of the hand of all your enemies.”However, they would not listen, but they did according to their former manner.So these nations feared the Lord and also served their carved images. Their children did likewise, and their children’s children— as their fathers did, so they do to this day.

When its boughs are dry, they are broken; women come and make a fire of them. For this is a people without discernment; therefore he who made them will not have compassion on them; he who formed them will show them no favor.
