Who is wise? Let them realize these things. Who is discerning? Let them understand. The ways of the Lord are right; the righteous walk in them, but the rebellious stumble in them.

If someone is wise, they will realize that what I’ve said is true. If they have understanding, they will know what it means. The ways of the Lord are right. People who are right with God live the way he wants them to. But those who refuse to obey him trip and fall.

Whoever is wise, let him understand these things; whoever is discerning, let him know them; for the ways of the Lord are right, and the upright walk in them, but transgressors stumble in them.

Let those who are wise understand these things. Let those with discernment listen carefully. The paths of the Lord are true and right, and righteous people live by walking in them. But in those paths sinners stumble and fall.

Let whoever is wise understand these things, and whoever is insightful recognize them. For the ways of the LORD are right, and the righteous walk in them, but the rebellious stumble in them.

凡百庶民、智慧是具、深窺斯理、必知耶和華之仁慈兮。

耶和華之道、益善而虧惡。

由上帝來者、聽上帝言、爾不由上帝來、故不聽也、

仁義之主耶和華、駐蹕於斯邑、恆秉公義、時伸民冤、無日不然、惟彼惡徒、毫不知恥、

遍地蕭條、恍若沙漠、人蹤罕至、焉得哲人、蒙予啟示、而言其故。

眾經諳鍊、以致潔白、智慧既得、自必昭然、惡者所行乖戾、終必不明。

哲者聞此而增其學、明者聞此而益其慧。玩味箴言之微旨、可悟賢人之隱語。

耶和華兮、爾之法度無不義、是余所知、爾雖降災於我、乃玉我於成兮、

爾所諭者、我悉以為善、但諸妄為、我憾之靡已兮、○

上帝與、乃造化之主、其工純全、其道正直、誠實無妄、秉義無咎。

耶和華兮、其律全備、可以蘇困兮、其法真實、可以破愚兮、其命正直、可以悅志兮、其誠純潔、可以發矇兮、

西面祝之、謂馬利亞曰、此子將立、關以色列族多人之盛衰、為受刺之鵠、

彼拉多曰、然則爾王乎、曰、爾謂我王、我以此生、我以此臨世、欲為真理證、從真理者、聽我言也、

曰、求之不以信主、惟以行法、其蹶此石上、如經云、我以躓人之石、礙人之磐、置於郇城、然賴之者、必不啟羞也、

爾言我耶和華所行、不尚正直、以色列族宜聽我言、我所行者、惟秉大公、爾所為者、尚存偏頗。

上帝使我為基督之香、俾得救及沉淪臭之、沉淪者臭此、則為死之臭、致死、得救者臭此、則為生之香、致生、誰堪任此乎、

夫律法聖、誡亦聖、義且善也、

我若在眾前、未行人所不能行者、則其人無罪、今其於我及我父、且見且惡之、

並誅善惡不可、待善惡相等亦不可、鞫天下者、豈不行義乎。

惟秉厥公、真實無妄、其命正直、以真實為本、萬世不易兮、

義者之道、光如旭日、久而愈耀、迨及日中。

爾民常言主耶和華所為、不秉大公、實眾所為偏頗。善人去善作惡、則因其所為、置諸死地、惡人悛改素行、孳孳為義、則可得生、以色列族常言我耶和華所為、不尚正直、我必鞫爾、察爾所為。

曰、天國之奧、與爾知之、不與他人也、凡有者、將與之、使有餘、無有者、幷其所有、亦將奪之、

惡者之至、藉撒但力、其妙用異跡奇事、無非偽為、詭詐百出、自棄者為所惑、蓋彼不願受真理致得救、為此、上帝任其大謬、信諸誑言、使不信真理、悅不義者、悉定厥罪、

耶穌曰、我為審判臨世、使不見者可見、見者反為瞽、

人子至、食人食、飲人飲、人言其嗜食甘酒、稅吏罪人之友、惟有道之人、為能見道而悅之者也、○

義人之道正直、主秉公義、使善人得履坦途。

夫光臨世、而人作惡、愛暗過於光、此所以定罪也、作不善者惡光、而不就光、恐所行見責、

凡不我厭而棄者、福矣、○

會堂眾人聞之怒甚、群起逐之邑外、其邑建於山、曳之崖、欲推之下、

義人志道、久而不息、潔者用力、久而彌堅。

我萬有之主耶和華、爾當敬恪尊崇、我將扞衛爾、惟以色列二族及耶路撒冷居民反是、故我必譴之、若蹶於磐石、若墮於機檻。

行程遞進、其力愈奮、終詣郇邑、得覲上帝兮。

罪人惡黨、同歸於盡、凡棄我者、淪胥以亡。

維爾智者、請聽我言、寧有全能上帝、而行非義哉。必視人所行、而加賞罰。全能之上帝、誠無不義、直道以待人、

王公諸伯、尚不可加以惡名、況乎上帝、貧富尊卑、視同一體、皆其所造者乎。

故信者、以之為其貴、而工師所棄之石、成為屋隅首石、至於不信者、則此石躓人礙人、使背道者蹶焉、此上帝所預定也、

惟爾是恃、願詣爾殿者、蒙其綏祉兮、
