Israel has forgotten their Maker and built palaces; Judah has fortified many towns. But I will send fire on their cities that will consume their fortresses.”

因為你忘記了那拯救你的神，不記念你避難的磐石。因此，你雖栽上佳美的秧子，種上外族的葡萄枝，

耶和華挪去了猶大的屏障。到那日，你們指望森林宮殿裡的兵器；你們看見大衛城的破口很多，就積聚下池的水；你們數點耶路撒冷的房屋，把房屋拆掉，用來加固城牆；你們又在兩道城牆之間造蓄水池，用來盛舊池的水；但你們卻沒有指望行這事的、沒有顧念在遠古計劃這事的那一位。

實際上，我們是神的創作，是為了美善的工作在基督耶穌裡被造成的；神早已預備好了美善工作，要我們在其中行事。

他看見了自己的子孫——我的手在雅各家中的作為，就必尊我的名為聖，尊雅各的聖者為聖，敬畏以色列的神。

這百姓是我為自己所造的，好讓他們講述對我的讚美。

所以他把猛烈的怒火和慘烈的戰火都傾瀉在以色列身上；火就在他們四圍燒起，他們卻不明白，火燒著了他們，他們也不放在心上。

他們忘記了神是他們的拯救者——是他在埃及行了大事，

耶和華如同勇士出征，又像戰士激起熱心；他呼喊，大聲呐喊，戰勝仇敵。
