是日駐軍於挪伯、揮手向錫安女之山、即耶路撒冷之岡也、○

一日者、敵居於諾、舉手而指、欲攻郇邑之山、耶路撒冷岡巒、

當是日至挪伯暫止、向郇邑之山、耶路撒冷之岡舉手、以指將攻、

This day they will halt at Nob; they will shake their fist at the mount of Daughter Zion, at the hill of Jerusalem.

Today the Assyrians have stopped at Nob. They are shaking their fists at Mount Zion in the city of Jerusalem.

This very day he will halt at Nob; he will shake his fist at the mount of the daughter of Zion, the hill of Jerusalem.

The enemy stops at Nob for the rest of that day. He shakes his fist at beautiful Mount Zion, the mountain of Jerusalem.

Today the Assyrians will stand at Nob, shaking their fists at the mountain of Daughter Zion, the hill of Jerusalem.

Yet today he will halt at Nob; He shakes his fist at the mountain of the daughter of Zion, the hill of Jerusalem.

As yet he will remain at Nob that day; He will shake his fist at the mount of the daughter of Zion, The hill of Jerusalem.

This very day shall he halt at Nob: he shaketh his hand at the mount of the daughter of Zion, the hill of Jerusalem.

Today he will stand at Nob, shaking his fist at the mountain of Daughter Zion, the hill of Jerusalem.

As yet shall he remain at Nob that day: he shall shake his hand[ against] the mount of the daughter of Zion, the hill of Jerusalem.

This very day, standing in Nob, they shake their fist at Daughter Zion’s mountain– at the hill of Jerusalem.

This very day he will halt at Nob. He shakes his hand at the mountain of the daughter of Zion, the hill of Jerusalem.

David went to Nob, to Ahimelek the priest. Ahimelek trembled when he met him, and asked,“ Why are you alone? Why is no one with you?” (niv)

In that day the Egyptians will become weaklings. They will shudder with fear at the uplifted hand that the Lord Almighty raises against them. (niv)

He also put to the sword Nob, the town of the priests, with its men and women, its children and infants, and its cattle, donkeys and sheep. (niv)

I will surely raise my hand against them so that their slaves will plunder them. Then you will know that the Lord Almighty has sent me. (niv)

this is the word the Lord has spoken against him:“ Virgin Daughter Zion despises and mocks you. Daughter Jerusalem tosses her head as you flee. (niv)

The Lord will dry up the gulf of the Egyptian sea; with a scorching wind he will sweep his hand over the Euphrates River. He will break it up into seven streams so that anyone can cross over in sandals. (niv)

In the last days the mountain of the Lord’s temple will be established as the highest of the mountains; it will be exalted above the hills, and all nations will stream to it. (niv)

They are armed with bow and spear; they are cruel and show no mercy. They sound like the roaring sea as they ride on their horses; they come like men in battle formation to attack you, Daughter Zion.” (niv)

Raise a banner on a bare hilltop, shout to them; beckon to them to enter the gates of the nobles. (niv)

Therefore this is what the Lord, the Lord Almighty, says:“ My people who live in Zion, do not be afraid of the Assyrians, who beat you with a rod and lift up a club against you, as Egypt did. (niv)

Daughter Zion is left like a shelter in a vineyard, like a hut in a cucumber field, like a city under siege. (niv)
