The Lord will dry up the gulf of the Egyptian sea; with a scorching wind he will sweep his hand over the Euphrates River. He will break it up into seven streams so that anyone can cross over in sandals.

The Lord will dry up the Red Sea in Egypt. By his power he’ll send a burning wind to sweep over the Euphrates River. He will break it up into many streams. Then people will be able to go across it wearing sandals.

And the Lord will utterly destroy the tongue of the Sea of Egypt, and will wave his hand over the River with his scorching breath, and strike it into seven channels, and he will lead people across in sandals.

The Lord will make a dry path through the gulf of the Red Sea. He will wave his hand over the Euphrates River, sending a mighty wind to divide it into seven streams so it can easily be crossed on foot.

我來的時候，為何無人等候呢？我呼喚的時候，為何無人答應呢？我的膀臂豈是縮短、不能救贖嗎？我豈無拯救之力嗎？看哪，我一斥責，海就乾了；我使江河變為曠野；其中的魚因無水腥臭，乾渴而死。

到那日，埃及人必像婦人一樣，他們必因萬軍之耶和華在埃及以上所掄的手，戰兢懼怕。

耶和華必經過苦海，擊打海浪，使尼羅河的深處都枯乾。亞述的驕傲必致卑微；埃及的權柄必然滅沒。

第六位天使把碗倒在幼發拉底大河上，河水就乾了，要給那從日出之地所來的眾王預備道路。

「那時，主必用大河外賃的剃頭刀，就是亞述王，剃去頭髮和腳上的毛，並要剃淨鬍鬚。

我必使江河乾涸，將地賣在惡人的手中；我必藉外邦人的手，使這地和其中所有的變為淒涼。這是我－耶和華說的。

耶和華的膀臂啊，興起！興起！以能力為衣穿上，像古時的年日、上古的世代興起一樣。從前砍碎拉哈伯、刺透大魚的，不是你嗎？使海與深淵的水乾涸、使海的深處變為贖民經過之路的，不是你嗎？

所以我必與你並你的江河為敵，使埃及地，從色弗尼塔直到古實境界，全然荒廢淒涼。

耶和華曉諭摩西說：「你對亞倫說：『把你的杖伸在埃及所有的水以上，就是在他們的江、河、池、塘以上，叫水都變作血。在埃及遍地，無論在木器中，石器中，都必有血。』」摩西、亞倫就照耶和華所吩咐的行。亞倫在法老和臣僕眼前舉杖擊打河裏的水，河裏的水都變作血了。河裏的魚死了，河也腥臭了，埃及人就不能吃這河裏的水；埃及遍地都有了血。

你曾用能力將海分開，將水中大魚的頭打破。你曾砸碎鱷魚的頭，把牠給曠野的禽獸為食物。你曾分裂磐石，水便成了溪河；你使長流的江河乾了。

摩西向海伸杖，耶和華便用大東風，使海水一夜退去，水便分開，海就成了乾地。

海中的水必絕盡，河也消沒乾涸。江河要變臭；埃及的河水都必減少枯乾。葦子和蘆荻都必衰殘；靠尼羅河旁的草田，並沿尼羅河所種的田，都必枯乾。莊稼被風吹去，歸於無有。打魚的必哀哭。在尼羅河一切釣魚的必悲傷；在水上撒網的必都衰弱。用梳好的麻造物的和織白布的都必羞愧；國柱必被打碎，所有傭工的，心必愁煩。
