In that day you will say:“ I will praise you, Lord. Although you were angry with me, your anger has turned away and you have comforted me.

In days to come, the people of Israel will sing,“ Lord, we will praise you. You were angry with us. But now your anger has turned away from us. And you have brought us comfort.

You will say in that day:“ I will give thanks to you, O Lord, for though you were angry with me, your anger turned away, that you might comfort me.

In that day you will sing:“ I will praise you, O Lord! You were angry with me, but not anymore. Now you comfort me.

On that day you will say:“ I will give thanks to you, LORD, although you were angry with me. Your anger has turned away, and you have comforted me.

And in that day you will say:“ O Lord, I will praise You; Though You were angry with me, Your anger is turned away, and You comfort me.

Lord, You are my God; I will exalt You, I will give thanks to Your name; For You have worked wonders, Plans formed long ago, with perfect faithfulness.

For His anger is but for a moment, His favor is for a lifetime; Weeping may last for the night, But a shout of joy comes in the morning.

In an outburst of anger I hid My face from you for a moment, But with everlasting favor I will have compassion on you,” Says the Lord your Redeemer.

And the Lord will be King over all the earth; on that day the Lord will be the only one, and His name the only one.

And it will be on the day when the Lord gives you rest from your hardship, your turmoil, and from the harsh service in which you have been enslaved,

“ Comfort, comfort My people,” says your God.“ Speak kindly to Jerusalem; And call out to her, that her warfare has ended, That her guilt has been removed, That she has received of the Lord’s hand Double for all her sins.”

On that day the Lord will punish Leviathan the fleeing serpent, With His fierce and great and mighty sword, Even Leviathan the twisted serpent; And He will kill the dragon who lives in the sea.On that day,“ A vineyard of beauty, sing of it!I, the Lord, am its keeper; I water it every moment. So that no one will damage it, I guard it night and day.

Indeed, the Lord will comfort Zion; He will comfort all her ruins. And He will make her wilderness like Eden, And her desert like the garden of the Lord. Joy and gladness will be found in her, Thanksgiving and the sound of a melody.

Shout for joy, you heavens! And rejoice, you earth! Break forth into joyful shouting, mountains! For the Lord has comforted His people And will have compassion on His afflicted.

For this is what the high and exalted One Who lives forever, whose name is Holy, says:“ I dwell in a high and holy place, And also with the contrite and lowly of spirit In order to revive the spirit of the lowly And to revive the heart of the contrite.For I will not contend forever, Nor will I always be angry; For the spirit would grow faint before Me, And the breath of those whom I have made.Because of the wrongful act of his unjust gain I was angry and struck him; I hid My face and was angry, And he went on turning away, in the way of his heart.I have seen his ways, but I will heal him; I will lead him and restore comfort to him and to his mourners,

Violence will not be heard again in your land, Nor devastation or destruction within your borders; But you will call your walls salvation, and your gates praise.No longer will you have the sun for light by day, Nor will the moon give you light for brightness; But you will have the Lord as an everlasting light, And your God as your glory.

In accordance with their uncleanness and their offenses I dealt with them, and I hid My face from them.” ’ ”Therefore this is what the Lord God says:“ Now I will restore the fortunes of Jacob and have mercy on all the house of Israel; and I will be jealous for My holy name.They will forget their disgrace and all their treachery which they perpetrated against Me, when they live securely on their own land with no one to make them afraid.When I bring them back from the peoples and gather them from the lands of their enemies, then I shall show Myself holy through them in the sight of the many nations.Then they will know that I am the Lord their God because I made them go into exile among the nations, and then I gathered them again to their own land; and I will leave none of them there any longer.I will not hide My face from them any longer, for I will have poured out My Spirit on the house of Israel,” declares the Lord God.

And it will be said on that day,“ Behold, this is our God for whom we have waited that He might save us. This is the Lord for whom we have waited; Let’s rejoice and be glad in His salvation.”

“ Come, let’s return to the Lord. For He has torn us, but He will heal us; He has wounded us, but He will bandage us.

Then on that day The nations will resort to the root of Jesse, Who will stand as a signal flag for the peoples; And His resting place will be glorious.Then it will happen on that day that the Lord Will again recover with His hand the second time The remnant of His people who will remain, From Assyria, Egypt, Pathros, Cush, Elam, Shinar, Hamath, And from the islands of the sea.

And the redeemed of the Lord will return And come to Zion with joyful shouting, And everlasting joy will be on their heads. They will obtain gladness and joy, And sorrow and sighing will flee away.

The proud look of humanity will be brought low, And the arrogance of people will be humbled; And the Lord alone will be exalted on that day.

I will heal their apostasy, I will love them freely, Because My anger has turned away from them.I will be like the dew to Israel; He will blossom like the lily, And he will take root like the cedars of Lebanon.His shoots will sprout, His majesty will be like the olive tree, And his fragrance like the cedars of Lebanon.Those who live in his shadow Will again raise grain, And they will blossom like the vine. His fame will be like the wine of Lebanon.Ephraim, what more have I to do with idols? It is I who answer and look after you. I am like a luxuriant juniper; From Me comes your fruit.Whoever is wise, let him understand these things; Whoever is discerning, let him know them. For the ways of the Lord are right, And the righteous will walk in them, But wrongdoers will stumble in them.

Heaven and earth shall praise Him, The seas and everything that moves in them.For God will save Zion and build the cities of Judah, So that they may live there and possess it.The descendants of His servants will inherit it, And those who love His name will live in it.

As one whom his mother comforts, so I will comfort you; And you will be comforted in Jerusalem.”

So may he live, and may the gold of Sheba be given to him; And they are to pray for him continually; They are to bless him all day long.May there be abundance of grain on the earth on top of the mountains; Its fruit will wave like the cedars of Lebanon; And may those from the city flourish like the vegetation of the earth.May his name endure forever; May his name produce descendants as long as the sun shines; And may people wish blessings on themselves by him; May all nations call him blessed.Blessed be the Lord God, the God of Israel, Who alone works wonders.And blessed be His glorious name forever; And may the whole earth be filled with His glory. Amen and Amen.

The high praises of God shall be in their mouths, And a two edged sword in their hands,To execute vengeance on the nations, And punishment on the peoples,To bind their kings with chains, And their dignitaries with shackles of iron,To execute against them the judgment written. This is an honor for all His godly ones. Praise the Lord!

For if their rejection proves to be the reconciliation of the world, what will their acceptance be but life from the dead?

I will bless the Lord at all times; His praise shall continually be in my mouth.My soul will make its boast in the Lord; The humble will hear it and rejoice.Exalt the Lord with me, And let’s exalt His name together.I sought the Lord and He answered me, And rescued me from all my fears.They looked to Him and were radiant, And their faces will never be ashamed.This wretched man cried out, and the Lord heard him, And saved him out of all his troubles.The angel of the Lord encamps around those who fear Him, And rescues them.Taste and see that the Lord is good; How blessed is the man who takes refuge in Him!Fear the Lord, you His saints; For to those who fear Him there is no lack of anything.The young lions do without and suffer hunger; But they who seek the Lord will not lack any good thing.Come, you children, listen to me; I will teach you the fear of the Lord.Who is the person who desires life And loves length of days, that he may see good?Keep your tongue from evil And your lips from speaking deceit.Turn from evil and do good; Seek peace and pursue it.The eyes of the Lord are toward the righteous, And His ears are toward their cry for help.The face of the Lord is against evildoers, To eliminate the memory of them from the earth.The righteous cry out, and the Lord hears And rescues them from all their troubles.The Lord is near to the brokenhearted And saves those who are crushed in spirit.The afflictions of the righteous are many, But the Lord rescues him from them all.He protects all his bones, Not one of them is broken.Evil will bring death to the wicked, And those who hate the righteous will suffer for their guilt.The Lord redeems the souls of His servants, And none of those who take refuge in Him will suffer for their guilt.

God be gracious to us and bless us, And cause His face to shine upon us— SelahThat Your way may be known on the earth, Your salvation among all nations.May the peoples praise You, God; May all the peoples praise You.May the nations be glad and sing for joy; For You will judge the peoples with fairness And guide the nations on the earth. On that day the Lord will thresh from the flowing stream of the Euphrates River to the brook of Egypt, and you will be gathered up one by one, you sons of Israel.It will come about also on that day that a great trumpet will be blown, and those who were perishing in the land of Assyria and who were scattered in the land of Egypt will come and worship the Lord on the holy mountain in Jerusalem.

“ So it will be when all of these things have come upon you, the blessing and the curse which I have placed before you, and you call them to mind in all the nations where the Lord your God has scattered you,and you return to the Lord your God and obey Him with all your heart and soul in accordance with everything that I am commanding you today, you and your sons,then the Lord your God will restore you from captivity, and have compassion on you, and will gather you again from all the peoples where the Lord your God has scattered you.

Lord, You showed favor to Your land; You restored the fortunes of Jacob.You forgave the guilt of Your people; You covered all their sin. SelahYou withdrew all Your fury; You turned away from Your burning anger.

I have certainly heard Ephraim grieving,‘ You have disciplined me, and I was corrected, Like an untrained calf; Bring me back that I may be restored, For You are the Lord my God.For after I turned back, I repented; And after I was instructed, I slapped my thigh; I was ashamed and also humiliated Because I bore the shame of my youth.’Is Ephraim My dear son? Is he a delightful child? Indeed, as often as I have spoken against him, I certainly still remember him; Therefore My heart yearns for him; I will certainly have mercy on him,” declares the Lord.

How can I give you up, Ephraim? How can I surrender you, Israel? How can I make you like Admah? How can I treat you like Zeboiim? My heart is turned over within Me, All My compassions are kindled.

On that day there will be inscribed on the bells of the horses,“ Holy to the Lord.” And the cooking pots in the Lord’s house will be like the bowls before the altar.

And there will be a highway from Assyria For the remnant of His people who will be left, Just as there was for Israel On the day that they came up out of the land of Egypt.

On that day this song will be sung in the land of Judah:“ We have a strong city; He sets up walls and ramparts for security.

For in a very little while My indignation against you will be ended and My anger will be directed toward their destruction.”

And they* sang the song of Moses, the bond servant of God, and the song of the Lamb, saying,“ Great and marvelous are Your works, Lord God, the Almighty; Righteous and true are Your ways, King of the nations!Who will not fear You, Lord, and glorify Your name? For You alone are holy; For all the nations will come and worship before You, For Your righteous acts have been revealed.”

After these things I heard something like a loud voice of a great multitude in heaven, saying,“ Hallelujah! Salvation, glory, and power belong to our God,because His judgments are true and righteous; for He has judged the great prostitute who was corrupting the earth with her sexual immorality, and He has avenged the blood of His bond servants on her.”And a second time they said,“ Hallelujah! Her smoke rises forever and ever.”And the twenty four elders and the four living creatures fell down and worshiped God who sits on the throne, saying,“ Amen. Hallelujah!”And a voice came from the throne, saying,“ Give praise to our God, all you His bond servants, you who fear Him, the small and the great.”Then I heard something like the voice of a great multitude and like the sound of many waters, and like the sound of mighty peals of thunder, saying,“ Hallelujah! For the Lord our God, the Almighty, reigns.Let’s rejoice and be glad and give the glory to Him, because the marriage of the Lamb has come, and His bride has prepared herself.”

Nothing remains but to crouch among the captives Or fall among those killed. In spite of all this, His anger does not turn away And His hand is still stretched out.
