Let the Moabite fugitives stay with you; be their shelter from the destroyer.” The oppressor will come to an end, and destruction will cease; the aggressor will vanish from the land.

Let those who have run away from Moab stay with you. Keep them safe from those who are trying to destroy them.” Those who crush others will be destroyed. The killing will stop. The attackers will disappear from the earth.

Let My outcasts dwell with you, O Moab; Be a shelter to them from the face of the spoiler. For the extortioner is at an end, Devastation ceases, The oppressors are consumed out of the land.

Let mine outcasts dwell with thee; as for Moab, be thou a covert to him from the face of the destroyer. For the extortioner is brought to nought, destruction ceaseth, the oppressors are consumed out of the land.

Let my refugees stay with you; be a refuge for Moab from the aggressor. When the oppressor has gone, destruction has ended, and marauders have vanished from the land.

你必唱出這首詩歌來諷刺巴比倫王，說：“欺壓人的，怎麼止息了呢！強暴怎麼止住了呢！

萬軍之耶和華說：“你們必踐踏惡人；在我施行作為的日子，他們必在你們腳掌之下成為塵土。

你忘記了造你的耶和華，就是那展開諸天，奠定大地的根基的；又因那欺壓者準備行毀滅的時候所發的烈怒，你就終日不住懼怕呢？其實那欺壓者的烈怒在哪裡呢？

因為他們所負的軛和肩頭上的杖，以及欺壓他們的人的棍，你都折斷了，像在米甸的日子一樣。

他們將倒在刀下，被擄到各國，耶路撒冷必被外族人踐踏，直到外族人的日期滿足。

住在底本的人民哪！要從你們榮耀的位上下來，坐在乾旱的地上（“乾旱的地上”原文作“乾渴”），因為毀滅摩押的要上來攻擊你們，摧毀你們的堅固城。

“困苦貧窮的雇工，無論是你的兄弟，或是寄居在你的地上你的城裡的，你都不可欺壓他。

因為寧林的眾水都已荒涼，青草枯乾，嫩草滅沒，完全沒有青綠之物。

“如果一個奴僕離開了他的主人，逃到你那裡來，你不可把他送交他的主人。他要在你中間和你同住，住在他自己選擇的地方，住在他喜歡的城市，你不可欺負他。

你這毀滅人，自己卻不被毀滅的；你這行事詭詐，別人倒不以詭詐待你的，有禍了！你剛停止毀滅人的時候，自己就要被毀滅；你剛停止行詭詐的時候，別人就必以詭詐待你。

耶和華的手必放在這山上；但摩押人在自己的地方必受踐踏，好像乾草在糞坑中被踐踏一樣。

大衛家啊！耶和華這樣說：你們每早晨應秉公審判，解救被搶奪的脫離欺壓者的手；免得我的烈怒因你們（“你們”有古抄本作“他們”）的惡行發作，如火焚燒，無人能熄滅。

但聖所外面的院子，不要量它，因為它已經給了外族人，他們要踐踏聖城四十二個月。

行毀滅的必來攻擊一切城鎮，沒有一座城可以倖免；山谷必被蹂躪，平原必受破壞，正如耶和華所說的。

他們必像勇士，在戰場上把仇敵踐踏在街上的泥土中，他們必爭戰，因為耶和華與他們同在，他們必使敵方的騎士羞愧。

賜平安的神快要把撒但踐踏在你們腳下。願我們主耶穌的恩惠與你們同在。

我必在我的家四圍安營，不容敵軍出入往來；欺壓人的不能再侵犯我的子民，因我現在親眼看顧他們。
