他们是乐意的，而且那也是他们的本分（“本分”原文作“债”），因为外族人既然分享了犹太人属灵的好处，就应该供应他们肉身的需要。等我办好这件事，把这笔款项安全地交了给他们，我就要路过你们那里到西班牙去。

耶和华显明了他的救恩，在列国眼前显示了他的公义。他记念他向以色列家所应许的慈爱和信实，地的四极都看见我们神的救恩。

你向神许了愿，就不可迟迟不还，因为他不喜悦愚昧人；所许的愿必须偿还。

耶和华我们的神啊！现在求你拯救我们脱离亚述王的手，使地上万国都知道唯有你耶和华是神。”

好使全地得知你的道路，万国得知你的救恩。

所有前来攻击耶路撒冷的列国中剩下的人，必年年上来敬拜大君王万军之耶和华，并且守住棚节。地上的万族中，凡是不上耶路撒冷敬拜大君王万军之耶和华的，就必没有雨降给他们。埃及族若不上来参加，就必没有雨降给他们，这就是耶和华用来击打那些不上来守住棚节的列国的灾祸。

从前你们不认识神的时候，是给那些本来不是神的作奴仆；现在你们既然认识神，更可以说是神所认识的，怎么还回到那些软弱贫乏的言论，情愿再作它们的奴仆呢？

耶稣说：“妇人，你应当信我，时候将到，那时你们敬拜父，不在这山上，也不在耶路撒冷。你们敬拜你们所不知道的，我们却敬拜我们所知道的，因为救恩是从犹太人出来的。然而时候将到，现在就是了，那靠着圣灵按着真理敬拜父的，才是真正敬拜的人；因为父在寻找这样敬拜他的人。神是灵，敬拜他的必须靠着圣灵按着真理敬拜他。”

今天耶和华要把你交在我手里，我必击杀你，砍下你的头。今天我还要把非利士人军队的尸体给空中的飞鸟和地上的野兽吃。这样，全地的人就都知道以色列中有一位神。

认识你是独一的真神，并且认识你所差来的耶稣基督，这就是永生。

敬拜我的人，就是我所分散的人，必从古实河外而来，给我献上礼物。

然而你们是蒙拣选的族类，是君尊的祭司，是圣洁的国民，是属神的子民，为要叫你们宣扬那召你们出黑暗入奇妙光明者的美德。

看哪！你要召聚你不认识的国；那些素来不认识你的国也必奔向你，都因耶和华你的神、以色列的圣者的缘故，因为他已经荣耀了你。
