又於此山、盡除蔽萬民之巾、蒙列邦之帕、

自古以來、列國兆民、其心昏昧若帕蒙面、今在此山、耶和華除之。

又在此山、必除阻萬民之障翳、及蔽萬國之覆蓋、

On this mountain he will destroy the shroud that enfolds all peoples, the sheet that covers all nations;

On that mountain the Lord will destroy the veil of sadness that covers all the nations. He will destroy the gloom that is spread over everyone.

And he will swallow up on this mountain the covering that is cast over all peoples, the veil that is spread over all nations.

There he will remove the cloud of gloom, the shadow of death that hangs over the earth.

On this mountain he will swallow up the burial shroud, the shroud over all the peoples, the sheet covering all the nations.

And on this mountain He will destroy the covering which is over all peoples, The veil which is stretched over all nations.

And He will destroy on this mountain The surface of the covering cast over all people, And the veil that is spread over all nations.

And he will destroy in this mountain the face of the covering that covereth all peoples, and the veil that is spread over all nations.

On this mountain He will destroy the burial shroud, the shroud over all the peoples, the sheet covering all the nations;

And he will destroy in this mountain the face of the covering cast over all people, and the vail that is spread over all nations.

On this mountain he will swallow up the shroud that is over all the peoples, the woven covering that is over all the nations;

He will destroy in this mountain the surface of the covering that covers all peoples, and the veil that is spread over all nations.

They are darkened in their understanding and separated from the life of God because of the ignorance that is in them due to the hardening of their hearts. (niv)

Therefore, brothers and sisters, since we have confidence to enter the Most Holy Place by the blood of Jesus,by a new and living way opened for us through the curtain, that is, his body,and since we have a great priest over the house of God, (niv)

It has not been removed, because only in Christ is it taken away.Even to this day when Moses is read, a veil covers their hearts.But whenever anyone turns to the Lord, the veil is taken away.Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom.And we all, who with unveiled faces contemplate the Lord’s glory, are being transformed into his image with ever- increasing glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit. For Christ did not enter a sanctuary made with human hands that was only a copy of the true one; he entered heaven itself, now to appear for us in God’s presence. (niv)

“ Arise, shine, for your light has come, and the glory of the Lord rises upon you.See, darkness covers the earth and thick darkness is over the peoples, but the Lord rises upon you and his glory appears over you.Nations will come to your light, and kings to the brightness of your dawn. (niv)
