以臭代香、以索代紳、以童首代重髮、以麻布代華服、以烙印代姿容、

除其馨香、蒙以不潔、去其彩紳、繫以縲絏、髠其卷髮、代以童首、褫其繡衣、束以麻布、毀其姿容、加以烙印。

以穢臭代馨香、以繩索代華帶、以頭禿代編髮、以麻衣代華服、以烙痕代美容、

Instead of fragrance there will be a stench; instead of a sash, a rope; instead of well-dressed hair, baldness; instead of fine clothing, sackcloth; instead of beauty, branding.

Instead of smelling sweet, the women will smell bad. Instead of wearing belts, they will wear ropes. Instead of having beautiful hair, they won’t have any hair at all. Instead of wearing fine clothes, they’ll wear rough clothes to show how sad they are. Instead of being beautiful, on their bodies they’ll have the marks of their owners.

Instead of perfume there will be rottenness; and instead of a belt, a rope; and instead of well-set hair, baldness; and instead of a rich robe, a skirt of sackcloth; and branding instead of beauty.

Instead of smelling of sweet perfume, she will stink. She will wear a rope for a sash, and her elegant hair will fall out. She will wear rough burlap instead of rich robes. Shame will replace her beauty.

Instead of perfume there will be a stench; instead of a belt, a rope; instead of beautifully styled hair, baldness; instead of fine clothes, sackcloth; instead of beauty, branding.

Now it will come about that instead of balsam oil there will be a stench; Instead of a belt, a rope; Instead of well set hair, a plucked out scalp; Instead of fine clothes, a robe of sackcloth; And branding instead of beauty.

And so it shall be: Instead of a sweet smell there will be a stench; Instead of a sash, a rope; Instead of well-set hair, baldness; Instead of a rich robe, a girding of sackcloth; And branding instead of beauty.

And it shall come to pass, that instead of sweet spices there shall be rottenness; and instead of a girdle, a rope; and instead of well set hair, baldness; and instead of a robe, a girding of sackcloth; branding instead of beauty.

Instead of perfume there will be a stench; instead of a belt, a rope; instead of beautifully styled hair, baldness; instead of fine clothes, sackcloth; instead of beauty, branding.

And it shall come to pass,[ that] instead of sweet smell there shall be stink; and instead of a girdle a rent; and instead of well set hair baldness; and instead of a stomacher a girding of sackcloth;[ and] burning instead of beauty.

A putrid stench will replace the smell of spices, a rope will replace a belt, baldness will replace braided locks of hair, a sackcloth garment will replace a fine robe, and a prisoner’s brand will replace beauty.

It shall happen that instead of sweet spices, there shall be rottenness; instead of a belt, a rope; instead of well set hair, baldness; instead of a robe, a wearing of sackcloth; and branding instead of beauty.

他們必因你把頭剃光，腰束麻布，為你痛心哭泣，苦苦悲哀。

錫安居民（“居民”原文作“女子”）的長老都坐在地上，默默無聲；他們把塵灰撒在頭上，腰束麻布。耶路撒冷的處女都垂頭至地。

到那日，主萬軍之耶和華叫人哭泣哀號，剃光頭髮，穿上麻布。

他們在街上都腰束麻布；在房頂上，在廣場上，各人都哀號，流淚痛哭。

“我必使你們歡樂的節期變為悲哀的日子，把你們的歌聲都變為哀哭。我必使你們各人腰束麻帶，頭都剃光了；我必使你們悲哀，好像喪了獨生子，自始至終都是痛苦的。

猶大啊！為你所喜愛的兒女，你要剃頭，使你的頭光禿，完全光禿如同禿鷹；因為他們都從你那裡被擄去了。

每個少女輪流進宮見亞哈隨魯王之前，都要照著女子的規例潔淨身體十二個月，因為女子潔身的規例是這樣：六個月用沒藥油，六個月用香品和婦女潔身用的其他物品。

我就要這樣待你們：我必命驚慌臨到你們，癆病熱病使你們眼目昏花，心靈憔悴；你們必徒然撒種，因為你們的仇敵必吃盡你們的出產。

不要單注重外表的裝飾，就如鬈頭髮、戴金飾、穿華麗衣服；

主要用審判的靈和焚燒的靈把錫安女子的污穢洗去，又把耶路撒冷中間的血腥洗淨。

“希實本哪，你要哀號！因為艾城已被毀滅。拉巴的居民（“居民”原文作“女子”），你們要呼喊，要腰束麻布，要哀哭，要在城牆內跑來跑去。因為米勒公，以及事奉它的祭司和領袖，都必一同被擄去。

他們各人的頭都剃光了，鬍鬚也剃掉了，他們割傷了自己的手，腰束麻布。

耶和華必用癆病、熱病、炎症、瘧疾、乾旱、旱風和霉爛打擊你；它們必追趕你，直到你滅亡。

我把麻布縫在我的皮膚上，把我的角插入塵土中。

她做細麻布衣服出售，又供應腰帶給商人。

你們要哀號，像少女腰束麻布，為她幼年時許配的丈夫哀號一樣。

“地上的眾王，就是跟她一同行邪淫、驕奢無度的，看見焚燒她的煙的時候，就必為她痛哭捶胸。

他們必用麻布束腰，戰兢把他們遮蓋，各人的臉上滿是羞愧，各人的頭上都光禿。

我要賜能力給我那兩個穿著麻衣的見證人，他們要傳道一千二百六十天。”

人被高熱燒烤，就褻瀆那有權柄掌管這些災難的神的名，並不悔改，把榮耀歸給他。

你帶著油走到君王那裡，並且加多了你的香料，差派使者到遠方去，你甚至自己下到陰間去！

他們必因饑荒消瘦，被熱病和毒症消滅；我也要打發野獸用牙齒咬他們，和土中的蛇類用毒液害他們。

又用沒藥、沉香和桂皮，薰了我的榻。

安逸的婦女啊！你們要起來，聽我的聲音；無憂無慮的女子啊！你們要側耳聽我的話。無憂無慮的女子啊！再過一年多，你們就必受困擾，因為沒有葡萄可摘，收禾稼的日子也沒有來。安逸的婦女啊！你們要受震驚。無憂無慮的女子啊！你們要受困擾了，脫去衣服，赤著身子，以麻布束腰吧。

我的同胞（“同胞”原文作“人民的女子”）啊！應當披上麻布，在灰塵中打滾，悲哀如喪獨生子，號咷痛哭，因為有行毀滅的會突然攻擊我們。

因此，你們應當披上麻布，痛哭哀號，因為耶和華的烈怒，還沒有離開我們。
