Jerusalem staggers, Judah is falling; their words and deeds are against the Lord, defying his glorious presence.

Jerusalem is about to fall. And so is Judah. They say and do things against the Lord. They dare to disobey him to his very face.

For Jerusalem has stumbled, and Judah has fallen, because their speech and their deeds are against the Lord, defying his glorious presence.

你们的国土荒凉，你们的城市被火烧毁；你们的田地，在你们面前被外族人吞噬，荒凉得就像被外族人覆灭了一样。

祸哉！他们那样的人！他们用虚谎之绳牵拉罪孽、牵拉罪恶，就像用套车之绳一样。他们说：“让以色列的圣者加快吧，加速他的工作吧，好让我们看看！让他所计划的临近吧，到来吧，好让我们知道！”

要对所有的人施行审判，又要指证每个人以不敬神的方式所做的一切不敬神的事，以及不敬神的罪人所说的一切顶撞神的狂妄话。”

你们在嘲笑谁呢？向谁张大嘴巴、伸长舌头呢？难道你们不是叛逆之子、虚谎之种吗？

这子民当着我的面不断地惹我恼怒，他们在园林里献祭，在砖头上烧香；他们坐在坟墓之间，在隐秘处过夜；他们吃猪肉，器皿中有不洁之肉做的汤；他们说：‘你就站在那里，不要接近我，因为我比你圣洁。’这些就是我鼻孔中的烟，是终日燃烧的火。

他们讥讽、嘲笑，怀着恶意说欺压人的话。他们说话出于高傲；他们开口亵渎上天，他们的舌头殃及全地。因此连神的子民也转向那里，喝了他们大量的水。他们说：“神怎能知道呢？至高者有知识吗？”

耶和华说：“你们用话语顶撞我，还问：‘我们是怎么用话语顶撞你的呢？’你们说：‘服事神是枉然的！遵守神所吩咐的，在万军之耶和华面前哀痛而行，有什么好处呢？所以我们就称傲慢的人有福；作恶的人不仅得以兴旺，他们试验神也得以逃脱。’”
