祸哉！你这毁灭人的，自己倒不被毁灭；行事诡诈的，人倒不以诡诈待你。你毁灭罢休了，自己必被毁灭；你行完了诡诈，人必以诡诈待你。

祸哉！你这未遭毁灭而毁灭人的人，人未以诡诈待你而你以诡诈待人的人！等你行完了毁灭，自己必被毁灭；你行完了诡诈，人必以诡诈待你。

祸哉！你这未遭毁灭而毁灭人的人，人未以诡诈待你而你以诡诈待人的人！等你行完了毁灭，自己必被毁灭；你行完了诡诈，人必以诡诈待你。

你们这些毁灭别人、自己还未被毁灭的人有祸了！等你们毁灭完了，就毁灭你们。你们这些欺诈别人、自己还未被欺诈的人有祸了！等你们欺诈完了，就欺诈你们。

你这毁灭人，自己却不被毁灭的；你这行事诡诈，别人倒不以诡诈待你的，有祸了！你刚停止毁灭人的时候，自己就要被毁灭；你刚停止行诡诈的时候，别人就必以诡诈待你。

祸哉！你这未遭毁灭的毁灭者，未遭背信之事的背信者！你行完了毁灭，自己必遭毁灭；你做尽了背信之事，自己必遭背信之事。

禍哉！你這毀滅人的，自己倒不被毀滅；行事詭詐的，人倒不以詭詐待你。你毀滅罷休了，自己必被毀滅；你行完了詭詐，人必以詭詐待你。

禍哉！你這未遭毀滅而毀滅人的人，人未以詭詐待你而你以詭詐待人的人！等你行完了毀滅，自己必被毀滅；你行完了詭詐，人必以詭詐待你。

禍哉！你這未遭毀滅而毀滅人的人，人未以詭詐待你而你以詭詐待人的人！等你行完了毀滅，自己必被毀滅；你行完了詭詐，人必以詭詐待你。

你們這些毀滅別人、自己還未被毀滅的人有禍了！等你們毀滅完了，就毀滅你們。你們這些欺詐別人、自己還未被欺詐的人有禍了！等你們欺詐完了，就欺詐你們。

你這毀滅人，自己卻不被毀滅的；你這行事詭詐，別人倒不以詭詐待你的，有禍了！你剛停止毀滅人的時候，自己就要被毀滅；你剛停止行詭詐的時候，別人就必以詭詐待你。

有禍啊！你這毁滅人者、而自己倒不被毁滅的！你這行詭詐者、而人倒不以詭詐待你的！你剛停止了毁滅人，你自己就要被毁滅了；你剛行完了詭詐，人就以詭詐待你了。

禍哉！你這未遭毀滅的毀滅者，未遭背信之事的背信者！你行完了毀滅，自己必遭毀滅；你做盡了背信之事，自己必遭背信之事。

人不虐爾、而爾虐人、人不誣爾、而爾誣人、禍將及矣、爾以誣虐施諸人、則人待爾亦若是、

人未虐爾而爾虐人、人未欺爾而爾欺人、將必受禍、爾虐人方畢、則人必虐爾、爾欺人方畢、則人必欺爾、○

Woe to you, destroyer, you who have not been destroyed! Woe to you, betrayer, you who have not been betrayed! When you stop destroying, you will be destroyed; when you stop betraying, you will be betrayed.

How terrible it will be for you, you who destroy others! Assyria, you haven’t been destroyed yet. How terrible for you, you who turn against others! Others haven’t turned against you yet. When you stop destroying, you will be destroyed. When you stop turning against others, others will turn against you.

Ah, you destroyer, who yourself have not been destroyed, you traitor, whom none has betrayed! When you have ceased to destroy, you will be destroyed; and when you have finished betraying, they will betray you.

What sorrow awaits you Assyrians, who have destroyed others but have never been destroyed yourselves. You betray others, but you have never been betrayed. When you are done destroying, you will be destroyed. When you are done betraying, you will be betrayed.

Woe, you destroyer never destroyed, you traitor never betrayed! When you have finished destroying, you will be destroyed. When you have finished betraying, they will betray you.

Woe to you, destroyer, While you were not destroyed; And he who is treacherous, while others did not deal treacherously with him. As soon as you finish destroying, you will be destroyed; As soon as you cease to deal treacherously, others will deal treacherously with you.

Woe to you who plunder, though you have not been plundered; And you who deal treacherously, though they have not dealt treacherously with you! When you cease plundering, You will be plundered; When you make an end of dealing treacherously, They will deal treacherously with you.

Woe to thee that destroyest, and thou wast not destroyed; and dealest treacherously, and they dealt not treacherously with thee! When thou hast ceased to destroy, thou shalt be destroyed; and when thou hast made an end of dealing treacherously, they shall deal treacherously with thee.

Woe, you destroyer never destroyed, you traitor never betrayed! When you have finished destroying, you will be destroyed. When you have finished betraying, they will betray you.

Woe to thee that spoilest, and thou[ wast] not spoiled; and dealest treacherously, and they dealt not treacherously with thee! when thou shalt cease to spoil, thou shalt be spoiled;[ and] when thou shalt make an end to deal treacherously, they shall deal treacherously with thee.

The destroyer is as good as dead, you who have not been destroyed! The deceitful one is as good as dead, the one whom others have not deceived! When you are through destroying, you will be destroyed; when you finish deceiving, others will deceive you!

Woe to you who destroy, but you weren’t destroyed, and who betray, but nobody betrayed you! When you have finished destroying, you will be destroyed; and when you have finished betrayal, you will be betrayed.

爾以何議議人、則見議亦如是、爾以何度度人、則見度亦如是、

慘澹之象、見示於我、欺者行其欺、殘者行其殘、以攔歟、爾其往哉、瑪代歟、爾其圍之、凡彼嗟歎、我盡息之、

自地之極、我儕聞歌曰、尊榮歸於義者、惟我曰、吾衰矣、吾衰矣、禍哉我也、欺者行其欺、欺者肆其欺、

主於錫安山、及耶路撒冷、既畢乃事、必討亞述王心驕之行為、目高之狂傲、

暮遭恐怖、未及黎明、已歸無有、是乃刦我者之所得、虜我者之所獲、

七十年既竟、我必罰巴比倫王與其國、及迦勒底人之地、使之永久荒蕪、以治其罪、耶和華言之矣、凡我所言、錄於此書、即耶利米論列邦所預言者、必臨於其國、蓋有多國大王、必使其人服役、我必依其所行、及其手所作以報之、○

亞多尼比色曰、昔有七十王、斷其手之巨擘、足之將指、拾食於我几下、今上帝依我所行以報、乃攜至耶路撒冷、而死於彼、○

凡宜見虜者則見虜、以刃殺人者、則必見殺於刃、諸聖徒之忍與信在此矣、○

爾所見之十角、乃十王未嘗受國者、但偕獸受權如王僅半時耳、其心咸同、以己能與權予獸、彼將與羔戰、羔將勝之、蓋羔乃諸主之主、諸王之王、偕之者乃見召蒙選忠信之人也、

以爾行暴於爾昆弟雅各、必蒙羞恥、永世見絕、昔日外人掠其貨財、異族入其邑門、為耶路撒冷掣籤、爾立於旁、若敵中之一焉、爾昆弟遘災之日、爾不可旁觀、猶大人見滅之日、爾不可欣喜、於其遭難之日、爾不可狂言、我民遇禍之日、爾不可入其邑門、受罰之日、爾不可旁觀其苦、罹害之日、爾不可攘取其財、不可立於通衢、而絕其逃脫者、於其患難之日、不可付其遺民於敵、蓋耶和華之日近臨萬邦、爾所為者、加諸爾身、爾所行者、歸於爾首、爾猶大人、在我聖山而飲、萬邦亦將如是恆飲、且飲且咽、將若未嘗有者、

希西家王十四年、亞述王西拿基立、上攻猶大諸堅城取之、猶大王希西家遣使往拉吉、見亞述王曰、我獲罪矣、求爾離我、凡爾加諸我者、我必負之、亞述王遂定猶大王希西家納銀三百他連得、金三十他連得、希西家以耶和華室與王宮府庫、所有之銀餽之、當時猶大王希西家、斫耶和華殿門之金、與己所包柱之金、俱餽亞述王、亞述王遣他珥探、拉伯撒利、拉伯沙基、統率大軍、自拉吉至耶路撒冷、攻希西家王、既至耶路撒冷、立於上沼之溝旁、漂工田之大路、

維時、耶和華之使者出、在亞述營、擊其人十八萬五千、晨起視之、乃屍而已、亞述王西拿基立遂去而返、居於尼尼微、崇拜其神於尼斯洛廟時、其子亞得米勒與沙利色、以刃弒之、遁於亞拉臘地、其子以撒哈頓嗣位、

是時亞哈斯王遣使求助於亞述王、因以東人擊猶大、虜其人、非利士人亦侵猶大窪地、及南方之城邑、取伯示麥、亞雅崙、基低羅、梭哥與其鄉里、亭納與其鄉里、瑾瑣與其鄉里、而居於彼、緣以色列王亞哈斯放恣於猶大、干犯耶和華特甚、故耶和華使猶大卑弱、亞述王提革拉毘尼色至、而不相助、反窘迫之、亞哈斯取耶和華室、及王宮牧伯家之物、餽亞述王、仍無裨益、

彼嗜酒行詐、驕傲而不安居、擴張其欲、恍若陰府、如死亡之無饜、集萬邦、會萬民、使為己有、斯眾豈不以譬詞諷之、以隱語嘲之曰、禍哉其人、聚斂非己之財、擔負典質之重、伊於胡底、剝削爾者、豈不勃興乎、窘迫爾者、豈不亟起乎、爾必為其所虜之物、因爾刦掠多邦、流人之血、行強暴於其地其邑、及凡居於其中者、諸國之遺民、亦必刦掠爾、○

以彼流聖徒及先知之血、今爾以血飲之宜也、

亞述為我震怒之梃、其手所持、乃我忿恚之杖、我遣之攻褻慢之邦、令其擊我所恚之民、虜之掠之、且蹂躪之、若街衢之泥塗、

耶和華之日將至、爾物被掠、必在爾中分之、蓋我必集萬邦、與耶路撒冷戰、其城被取其室被刦、其女被玷、邑民之半、將為俘囚、其餘之民、則不見絕於邑中、維時、耶和華必出、與列邦戰、如昔日之戰焉、

蓋上帝曾使其心、同懷一意、以行己旨、且以其國予獸、待上帝之言皆應、
